"Really nice staff, comfortable hotel, good bed and clean room
Just needs a tiny bit more attention to detail but would and will definitely stay again "

"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful .
Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater .
Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side.

"The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok. "

"Great location. Quiet area. Good value for money. Ideal size for a couple. Pet friendly. Perfect base for hiking as only a short drive to popular peaks.
Parking tricky due to narrow street, limited spaces. Kitchen basically a conservatory, so most of the day time difficult to spent time in due to heat (late June). Would be very cosy in winter, autumn or early spring.

"We had a great stay here for a few nights with the family over Easter. The barn is lovely and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed including a big multi-oven cooker which made cooking for 6 people with varied dietary requirements very straightforward. The garden is lovely and we were lucky enough to catch some of the trees in full blossom.
We enjoyed some superb walking and there was plenty of information provided to help us find paths that didn’t show up on my internet...

"The Three Cocks Hotel is a truly special place — an independent, family-run gem where you can feel the passion and care in everything they do. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the stunning interiors to the welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home.
The downstairs area is beautifully designed — perfect for unwinding by the fire with a drink after a day exploring. The receptionist was excellent: warm, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.
Breakfast was outstanding, with quality ingredients and generous portions. The location couldn’t be better — close to both Brecon and Hay-on-Wye, making it ideal for exploring the area.
Our room was immaculate, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely, well-designed bathroom. It’s clear that every aspect of this hotel has been created with care and attention to detail.
A wonderful stay from start to finish — I can’t recommend The Three Cocks Hotel highly enough.

"Loved our peaceful stay in this very well equipped cottage. It’s in a great location with loads to do in the local area. The cottage has almost everything you could want, including a dishwasher! "
