  • Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Perfect for visitors looking to stay in the heart of the west end. Ideally located in Hillhead close to Great Western Road, Gibson St, University Avenue and Byres Road perfect for exploring the vibrant area and a great base for exploring the city. Iconic Glasgow sights here include Ashton Lane, Ruthven Lane, Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, University of Glasgow, Botanic Gardens and famous eateries. Parking may be available on request.

There were plenty of good things about this apartment but could use a few adjustments. If you are traveling light and looking for an affordable place to stay while in Glasgow, this is a good choice. Pros: We were able to book this on short notice as our other VRBO fell through. It has 3 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen/living space. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Check-in was easy and the host was responsive to address issues. Cons: The location was a bit of a hike from the train station with luggage in the rain. The basement location made for a bit of noise from upstairs neighbors (walking, music/tv, etc). One of the bathrooms was incredibly small, as were both showers. These things might make it a challenge for families with children. There was a pod coffee machine but no pods provided. We bought a box and left the rest for the next guest. Other rentals tend to provide a few as a courtesy. The biggest disappointment was the washer/dryer as it took an amazingly long time and never fully dried anything. Again, this is a good rental for the right guest. If you are a group of adults and plan to be out and just need a clean, comfy, place to sleep, this is for you.
