"This is our favorite location of Lake Murray; a quiet cove that feels remote but just minutes from the convenience of downtown Lexington. The bungalow was just as advertised and was fantastic. Clean space with well stocked kitchen and amenities. We were able to dock our boat for the long weekend and spent time on both the floating dock and covered portion enjoying the views. Thanks Kent for an amazing stay. "

"This is truly a unique property. Im not gonna lie, I spent alot of time wondering how this little gazebo came to be. Could I have asked? Absolutely. But some things are best left to the imagination. The pictures do not do it justice. You just have to experience it. We spent early mornings either on the balcony or patio. We did bring our boat and 2 jet skis. It was nice having access to a private ramp. There was enough room to park 2 trailers, 2 trucks, and another vehicle comfortably at the residence. The dock was big enough to secure all 3 to it. It was even more amazing when lit up at night. I, like many am very apprehensive about staying at a property where the owners are on site. I dont know why, we're not a loud unruly group. Don't let that deter you here. We stayed 9 nights. Peter and Jan have mastered the art of letting you feel comfortable. They checked in to ask if we needed anything. Our 2 young adult kids (20 and 22 years old) were there for half the stay. Our daughter slept on the daybed which is also a trundle bed. And our son slept on the couch which pulls out to a queen bed. Both kids said they were comfortable. The master has a queen bed as well. It too was comfortable. The gazebo has 2 full bathrooms which was nice. The shower pressure was phenomenal. If you're on the fence about booking this then let this be your sign to go ahead and book it!"

"I was looking for a house off post that would accommodate our family. The views are beautiful, home is on tbe water so fishing and swimming is an option for those who enjoy outside. We loved sitting on the porch, talking. The sunroom was nice when it rained and would be great during cold months. Overall the home was a very nice stay. Our Soldier was able to come back for the day and he enjoyed the peacefulness and just being able to come back and have that family normalcy. "

"Stayed for a week while fishing on Lake Murray. Great location. Short drive to the lake, food and groceries. Did not use the outdoor area due to rain. The chargrill duo on the patio is only usable on the charcoal side. The gas side is nonfunctioning. We did enjoy sitting on the back porch. Screens and a small ceiling fan would make it even better. Ice maker doesn't work on the refrigerator and the water pressure in the sink is low,but the kitchen is nice. All the other appliances worked well. The bedrooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. Large lot for parking especially if you are towing a boat. Will definitely stay here again. "
