Amazing hotel in a beautiful setting and lovely staff. The best infinity pool and the best spot to enjoy incredible sunsets. The food is also excellent, especially at their Balinese restaurant and the staff is lovely, especially Rikki and Dipa. Would 100% recommend.

Honeymoon - brilliant stay

The resort was beautiful - an private onsen straight out of our bedroom with a view for miles down to the ocean. Plants everywhere, felt remote and peaceful. Staff were polite, interested, and thoughtful. Amazing, restorative stay.

The property is remote and quiet, a fantastic spot to enjoy nature in peaceful tranquillity. The service is top notch and the activities offered cover everyone’s interests. Close to munduk waterfalls and transport is offered daily for them. We loved our stay and would very definitely book again.

Staff was very nice, condition of room was OK, tons of bugs but you are in the jungle so I guess to be expected. Not as eco friendly as they claim - change towels even when hanging on the rack and only sell bottled glass water in restaurants even though they have filtered water, with no glass waste, they don’t offer it. TONS of children… not an adult holiday.

A Little Taste of Heaven.

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at the Munduk Moding Plantation. We really enjoyed the Jungle Villa. The entire staff made our stay even better. We celebrated my wife’s birthday and it will alway be one to remember. She enjoyed her morning swim in our private pool, the afternoon tea, and the excellent food options. Also, the ladies in the spa were so delightful. We are already planning a return trip in July 2023.
This is where we had breakfast every morning. A wonderful serene place to start the day.
This is the gazebo where we celebrate d my wife’s birthday. So beautiful.
If you do not want to walk, there is a cart that will take you anywhere on the property.
Wonderful places to take pictures on the property. This on is in the vegetable fields.

Can't say enough about the staff at Munduk Moding and the incredible service we received here. Gargita was our private butler, and not only was he responsive and so accommodating, but he went over and above his duties to drive us to dinner personally one night when we decided we wanted to get off property at the last minute. Everyone is so kind and friendly, and it was just unbelievable. The grounds are incredible, everything is perfectly kept, and we LOVED the pool villa. Cannot overstate how much I'd recommend staying here on a visit to Bali!

The highlight of our trip were the people who worked at Munduk! The beautiful pool, coffee plantation tour, large rooms and nighttime music + bonfires were the cherry on top! The staff is exception from the grounds crew to the cleaning staff to the restaurant waiters. Do yourself a favor and chat with the amazing and friendly staff to get the full Bali experience! Thank you / Suksma Tuta, Supriawan, Kariasa, Su su (sumadi), Dipa, Chef Sri, Leo, Murda, Aditya, Anggun (Jo Jo), Irvan, Ariawan, Wira, the entire front desk team and anyone else at Munduk we might have missed!

Overall, our favourite hotel in Bali despite the weather (unfortunately it was rainy season). The resort is amazing. The staff are very helpful. We stayed quite far from the front so the golf carts were available to help take us around. When you first walk into the room you're greeted by an amazing bathroom and coffee bar. I am just disappointed I was not able to try more of the coffee. Great coffee drinks provided at breakfast and afternoon tea. The onsite food was also good. We did not run out of things to do. The free plantation tour was nice along with our paid mountain bike tour to the waterfall. The activities program is extensive. We only stayed 2 nights this time but in the future we will try to stay for 3!

Delightful location high up in the mountain in a coffee plantation. They treated us like queens. Nothing was too much trouble. 2 friends had knee issues and they would promptly come pick them up on a golf cart. We sat in the hot tub above the infinity pool looking across the stunning panoramic view and pressed a button and were promptly served. They served the best seat in the house for us at the restaurant with a reserved sign at each meal. The massages were outstanding, and our rooms were fabulous. Felt like royalty. The staff are so friendly, remembered us by name and so accommodating. Would definitely go back if I was ever in Bali again. An outstanding experience.
