The Hog's Back Hotel & Spa Farnham

10/10 Excellent

"Great stay for my kids and I. Great facilities, local amenities and spa was loved by my children."

The Kings Arms and Royal Hotel, Godalming, Surrey

8/10 Good

"We enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be very helpful. The room was a little on the small side, but as we were only there 2 nights it was fine. The hotel has its own licensed dining room, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food we had was very good. The room was clean and well sticked with tea, coffee and biscuits. If you are coming to Godalming this is the ideal place to stay. Please note the hotel is in an older building with no lift/elevators meaning access to the rooms is by stairs only and may be tricky if you have mobility issues."

Mandolay Hotel Guildford

10/10 Excellent

"Fined me for smoking even though I did not smoke in the room . Someone had smoked near the room window before I checked in and then I was fined for no reason . And when I said I did not smoke inside the room , they gave me reason saying they found cigarette stains outside the window and cigarette dust near the window. If I smoked I don’t have problem paying the fine. But I did not . I can’t accept what I did not do. I did not bother after they fined me . This is the one issue I did not like . Other than that, it’s a good hotel, rooms are clean and nice . Front office staff and the restaurant staffs are really good . It’s a very good hotel and very nicely located. Good for travelers and must stay when you visit ."

The Godalming Hotel

8/10 Good

"The outside of the property is poorly maintained which wasn’t a good first impression. Inside the entrance hallway is clearly a higher standard. You can see effort is being made to improve internally. In the room the bedding and kettle, tables etc were clean, quality thick curtains & blind, however the bathroom window had to stay open due to the level of mould/strong smell from bathroom, black mould around shower cubicle, window etc. Also the main bedroom window did not have a handle so it could not be closed, this was a front facing room so traffic and general street noise was disturbing through the night. There is no food offering here but a dining table is available to use downstairs if you bring food in yourself. The back car park access is narrow & uphill with potholes, may terrify if not a confident driver. There isn’t lighting cameras and next door wall is part missing so didn’t feel secure, there are 3/4 front parking spaces available. Door entry system for access and welcomed on check in. No one around at checkout a note on table to leave the key on table when leaving."
