"This is my fourth time here! Couldn’t recommend it more. Torri is fantastic, quieter town but accessible to other bigger busier areas (Riva, Garda etc). It is only about 30-40 minute bus ride from train station at the bottom of the lake. Torri has lots of water-front restaurants, nice bars and local independent shops. Plenty ice cream! This hotel is perfect, 5 minute walking distance into Torri. Lovely clean spacious apartments. Pool and lounge areas are peaceful and have spectacular views of the lake. Very reasonably priced bar with very pleasant and attentive staff. Totally recommend "

"This hotel is in an excellent location with the lake and the facilities of Garda town. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the lake. "What an absolute gem, we loved our time at Residence San Michelle. It was perfect from our arrival, as we approached and saw the stunning view for the first time and met the lovely helpful team on reception. We stayed in one of the Villa‘s which was well equipped, a good size and had the most amazing view of the lake. The only slight niggle is plugs, not all Italian plug sockets worked with our European adapters and so with multiple devices it was very difficult to charge everything. The pool was lovely and the food at the restaurant was good. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return again, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. "

The rooms are basic and they took our towels and didn’t replace them and when we spoke to reception they said we could pay €5 for the use of another one
The upkeep of the building is a health and safety risk as the paving stones are broken around the pool.
The pools are great and the view is nice. The metal steps to get out of the larger pool were rickety
There is no air conditioning or coffee in the room
We had a step up to the bathroom which was dangerous
It is only 7 minutes from the main road however it’s up hill on the way back so not great if you hv bags or elderly people
