Great quiet place in the river. The only thing you need to bring is yourself ! All supplies are there, even including hot dog skewers for the fire pit. Any questions you have, she will respond to notes within the hour. Next time in that area, will definitely be there again.
This place is perfect! If you want to get away and enjoy spending time with the Lord in His beautiful creation this is the place! It has it all and is conveniently located close to town! Can’t say enough about this place!!’
We enjoyed the stay. It's nestled in a farm field and surrounded by hills. Sitting outside on the back deck was very relaxing. We plan on staying here again.
We enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was the perfect place for our family to relax and celebrwte a family members wedding. It was so quiet and at night we loved watching the lightening bugs all around the house!! We are already planning our next trip and another stay!!
Super nice cabin on the river. Close to great trout fishing on the Caney Fork. Deer, turkeys and Bald Eagles. Comfortable furnishings and bed.
Definitely would stay again and would recommend.
We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. No neighbors, access to the river, fire pit and a back porch swing, what else could one want? The property manager was wonderful to work with and gave us perfect directions to the property, which you definitely need! I would not hesitate to book this property again.
The cabin was great. It was so quiet and relaxing. We loved the rocking chairs and the back porch swing. We saw deer and turkeys. The back porch view over the Caney Fork river was awesome. We will definitely be back.
There is something nostalgic about a cabin on a lazy river behind a cornfield, like days gone by or something out of a Wendell Berry story.Fishing, floating, swimming.Fire, football, feasting. What a great way to spend a bachelor weekend with my son and his friends. Not flashy just perfect. Thanks for a great weekend!
This was our 2nd time at the cabin. We spent a few days through New Year's for our son's birthday. He thoroughly enjoyed kayaking... even in the cold weather. We saw lots of wildlife. It was very relaxing. We will definitely come back.
Perfect weekend getaway. Secluded property with river access. Cabin has all you need and more. Pictures truly don’t do it justice. So peaceful and serene.
We have already recommended this cabin to family and friends and we will be back ourselves
The property was in a perfect location right on the Caney Fork River and close to the town for essentials. The house had a beautiful view of the river and access to the water. The kayaks provided were a hit!
Everything we needed was provided with the house and the stay was amazing! I HIGHLY recommend this house to anyone interested.
My family and I absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cabbin is very secluded and peaceful. I loved watching the deer just come eat in the field directly in front of the house. Kayaking with the family was so much fun. Perfect place to stay if you love nature and enjoy the outdoors.Waterfalls are all around within 30min to an hour drive. Definitely a gem
We loved the location putting us less than all and childan hour out of Nashville. The set up on the river was phenomenal even if we did not get full use of the facilities due to flooding at the time. I would caution people with small children that they would need constant supervision due to the river and steep faces leading to it, but I would definitely recommend and use this property again if in the area.
Our friends group enjoyed the back porch swing over looking the river, we cooked in the well stocked kitchen, played board games and made gingerbread houses at the huge dining room table. Granville is less than 30 minutes away and is a must see. Had a delicious dinner at the Timberloft in Gordonsville We will definitely be back.
Very clean property. We appreciated that everything appeared and felt clean in the cabin. The property provided a restful atmosphere. All necessary items to cook were provided in the kitchen and there were plenty of towels for our group. There were extra blankets which we were very grateful to have. Plenty of food and grocery stores around the area.
Cabin and location was wonderful. Quiet and so peaceful. Only draw back was getting to the river to fish. Very difficult. We really had trouble getting our footing on the rocks. We selected this cabin so we could fish and was just very hard to do that.
