"If I could give Brook Trout Inn ten stars I would. Julie, her husband Steve, and their right hand woman, Holly, were welcolming, friendly and helpful. The facilities were spotless, the breakfast eggs were cooked to order with almost everything else you could ask for to start the day. Run, don't walk to this Inn the next time you are in the area and need somewhere to stay. Who needs a chain hotel when you can stay with what feels like family❤️? Also, we brought our 17'9" boat and parking was no problem on the property."

"Good value for the location in the NC mountains. A bit difficult to locate, as signage was not great. The view of the water falls is hard to see when the trees have not dropped their leaves. (We were disappointed that the trail leading to the base of the falls is very narrow and not well groomed.)Condo is nice. Lots of extras were provided."

"The condo was very clean and had amenities that made our stay, especially the first night after a long drive, very pleasant. The view was as pictured, and sitting on the balcony listening to the falls was very nice. The hosts responded to any questions we had in a timely manner, and were very helpful. Would definitely recommend Hope someday get back in the fall to see the colors on the mountains across from the waterfalls."

"Our family had a wonderful time at this property. It was very clean, and there was plenty of space to spread out. It was so relaxing to be secluded but still not far from restaurants and the grocery store. We had a great time playing in the river and hiking the nearby trails. Gorges State Park was very close and had beautiful trails, too. We would absolutely go back!"
