Georgian Apartment - 2 double bedrooms sleeping 4+2

The Georgian Apartment is a large Georgian Grade 2 listed two-storey 2 bedroomed apartment accommodating large 5ft king size zip and link double beds (which can convert to create 2 singles if required) with crisp white towels laid out on beds for the number of guests staying. An additional guest could possibly be accommodated on a fold out camp bed (suitable for a child) therefore possibly sleeping up to 5 guests in total.

The main bathroom has a splendid roll top bath with shower over, toilet, wash hand basin and vinyl flooring and off the hallway is a modern shower room with corner shower, toilet and wash hand basin.

The kitchen is well fitted with modern oak style units, practical laminate tiled flooring, modern worktops, a large range style cooker, dishwasher, microwave and all other essential mod cons etc.

The large 1st floor south facing lounge has 3 picture windows overlooking the paved square in front of the town hall and library with 1 settee and 2 armchairs, plus additional seating, plus a large flat screen smart TV.

Free off road parking is available for 1 car which is rare to find in the centre of town plus up to 2 additional off road parking spaces can be hired upon request at a cost of £25 per week.

All bedding and towelling is provided, with a mid term maid cleaning service available on request. Additional linen is available at £25 per set to include 1 medium bath towel.

A child cot and highchair are available at no extra cost, plus The Georgian Apartment has the option of fitting 2 child gates to doorways, but unfortunately these cannot be fitted onto the Grade 2 listed staircase. (If cots are provided guests are asked to please bring their own child's bedding).

The Georgian Apartment is pet friendly and we warmly welcome up to 2 medium sized well behaved four legged friends at an additional cost of £25 each per dog, per week/part week. (However, to be fair to our neighbours no continuous barkers please).

In addition to the rental cost we ask our guests for a security deposit, pre-authorised against your credit card. This is in case there is any damage to the property during your stay. The money is simply reserved and then released afterwards if there is no damage.

Our advertised prices are calculated on the number of people requested and may go up or down if amended.

Some of our properties have age restrictions, such as where we feel it would not be suitable for younger all adult groups, such as within quiet residential areas where noise may be an issue.

A Wonderful Base

The property was beautiful, warm and welcoming. A short walk from the ferry across to Portsmouth, an art gallery almost next door and Morrisons a hop skip and jump away so a perfect location especially with it's own parking spot. Had a brilliant stay despite the weather.

Lovely flat can't fault anything,very good position to explore local area and portsmouth via ferry about 5 mins down the road.Shops virtualy on the doorstep,for a flat in town it was good to have two parking places.

A really grand appartment

The accommodation is clean and to a high standard. It was like stopping in a country house but with all the modern amenities. The beds were comfortable. However the front bed room would benefit from some heavy curtains. The lights in the square are very bright. The location is very handy for the Portsmouth ferry and the royal dockyards are not to be missed. Would also recommend visits to Portchester Castle and the royal armories.

Lovely large apartment. Very comfy beds, everything you could possibly want, lots of lovely extras you don’t normally receive such as a welcome basket, all the cleaning products you might need, very easy parking, walking distance from large supermarket. Ideal location and property in Gosport

We were extremely pleased with the entire booking process, including the communications from Ken. We enjoyed our stay at The Georgian Apartment immensely. The property was spotless, well appointed (lovely decore) and in a great location! We could walk to shops, cafes, restaurants, and the ferry to Portsmouth. The property included two parking spots which was an essential requirement for us. Giovanna (the landlady) was wonderful, she went above and beyond to meet us on short notice and provided excellent customer service! We definitely plan on staying again.

Proximity to bus, ferry and trains was excellent. Lovely furnishings. Street is noisy at night, however. For a long stay such as ours, a dryer would have been useful. Sometimes took 2 days to dry washing. Bathrooms would have been better with add’l flat surfaces. Overall very pleased.

Beautiful Period Property

Lovely period property with generous sized rooms. Location had its positives and negatives. Good was its central location just a short walk from the Gosport ferry and the historic dockyard etc. Only slight downside was due to its proximity to the high street the returning revellers could be a bit noisy on the weekends but was quiet on weekdays.

A lovely and comfortable apartment

We stayed in this beautiful and spacious apartment for a week and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The location of the flat is great. It is convenient to get a ferry to Portsmouth harbour. We particularly enjoyed exploring the Boatyard, Gunwharf Quays and the Isle of Wight. Shops, supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance and the parks nearby is fantastic for our dogs to play and run around. The bedrooms are large, aring and quiet most of the time in the night. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything we need. The lounge is specious and so good for us to relax. The showers are powerful too. Our car is safely parked at the car park. As the ferry and railway is over the other side of the water, we haven't used our car for a week. So it is such a lovely and relaxing holiday we had. We are very pleased of finding this apartment. We will come back when we want to explore the surrounding area one day in the future.

Great central position. Short walk to ferry for all attractions around Portsmouth.

Needed accommodation for 4 adults and one dog to join up with family members visiting from USA and staying locally. Great to have 2 parking spaces. So handy for ferry to all attractions around Portsmouth and Gunwharf Quay etc. Apartment very spacious for us and rooms lovely with nice antiques. Good heating but would suggest some kind of draught proofing to beautiful but draughty windows in lounge ,as in February we had bitter winds coming from across the Solent. We put kitchen roll in gaps which improved the heat loss no end. Would save on future heating bills! Everything provided that one could wish for. Very well equipped kitchen. If family come next year we will be looking to repeat and can thoroughly recommend The Georgian Apartment.

A great location

We have rented many holiday "cottages" and found Complete Holiday Homes most efficient. On arrival we were greeted by the owner and given a tour of the property. This was most unusual but very helpful. We found the property to be very pleasant and comfortable and enjoyed our fortnight's stay very much. On site parking was extremely useful. The location is excellent for visiting Portsmouth Historic Dockyard as you can walk to the ferry which takes you to the gate. There is a great deal to see both in the Dockyard and at other museums nearby which took us (OAPs) 7 days. We also visited 2 castles, 2 National Trust houses, an abbey and a cathedral before returning home for a rest!
