Lovely, clean, modern hotel. Great breakfast selection. The rooftop bar was gorgeous and had a great vibe. Easy access to central Gothenburg via a free commuter ferry immediately outside the hotel midweek and the tram a 3 minute walk from the hotel any day of the week. Would recommend this hotel and would return.

Very nice location with a waterfront view. I visited, but unfortunately did not manage to eat in the 10 floor restaurant Fei, but the views themselves, and interior were spectacular. Nice design of rooms and modern facilities. And very good breakfeast!

The Hotel is great. Everything you would expect at this level. Nothing dissapointed. However the staff, and the service they provided, was superior to even the most high-end Hotels I have stayed in. You could not ask for more friendly and helpful service, even when I rolled in after midnight, with a whole host of issues. Spencer and Sharon set a new bar that I don't think will ever be met, and I will not forget how much they helped in a truly genuine and caring way. Thank You!!! The room and the breakfast buffet were also top notch!!

Excellent hotel and rooftop bar. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Front desk reception team were very helpful and professional, especially Zheila and Karen. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and staff service was very good. Location may at first feel far from Gotenborg central however it’s actually only a short 10 mins tram ride and you can use the free ferry to cross over to an upscale area that has lots of restaurants with 10 mins. Definitely recommend Clarion Pier Hotel!

Super clean Lovely room, shower amazing, bed comfortable. Had a room with a view of the water, which was a very nice experience. Staff ultra helpful and nice. Bar closes early downstairs, and no immediately close drinking venues, however the city was 10 minutes away by car, 25-30 by public transport. Breakfast was super good. Easy to indulge. Had a burger in the downstairs restaurant one evening, it was as nice as any hotel burger. Couldn't complain. As an Expedia customer they threw a 12€ voucher per day at you to use in restaurant or for snacks. Nice touch as well. A little too utilitarian for kids, not much to do in the hotel. Nearby is Vassen for street foods, beer house and water views. But if you're in town for the liseberg amusement park, might be a little for our for that. Close to the city, 5 minute boat ride during the week, 10ish mins by car. I'd have zero hesitation staying there again.

I arrived later than planned but this was my choice. I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful member of staff ‘Cookie’, who ensured nothing was too much trouble to make the last hour or so of my evening and enjoyable one. A very pleasant hotel with a great location (for me).

Nice hotel in silent area with serviceminded staff. Nice modern rooms, good bed and very good breakfast. Roodtop bar with nice view. Parking under hotel and also on the side( other company). Ferry right outside the hotel to central Gøteborg in weekdays. Another ferry 10 min walk in weekends. Bus and tram stop 2-3 mins walk from the hotel. 3 days pass cost a about 240 SKR and allows you to go by ferrys, trams and busses
