"Beautiful farm...people were very helpful...lovely setting...and great wines and information about wines and ports. Only issue was finding the place...they do not have a sign at the entrance to the property."

An added bonus is the wine making facility on the property. We enjoyed a tour of the winery and tasted their wines in the perfect setting. "

Only downside is the bathroom and toilet is in the bedroom open area. However, there are other bathrooms for more privacy in a well decorated cabin outside the room. "

"This hotel is very nice. The views from our room on the upper terrace were amazing. However, with that came the long steep walk up and down to get to the “bar” or restaurant. The room was very clean and ac worked great. You need to ask at the front desk if you want a hot pot and instant coffee for the room. The walls are kind of thin and we had a very loud group in the room next to us one night. The bar really is not a bar. It is a couple of booths in the corner of the restaurant behind a few curtains. The breakfast was very good. The food in the “bar” was just okay. Did not have the dinner buffet. With that being said we would definitely stay here again. "

"A fantastic B&B in Peso de Régua, beautiful property in the Duoro Valley. A bit of a walk to town, and would Not recommend walking as it is up on a hill and walking up will be exercise! "We enjoyed this hotel. We had a lovely room with a terrace overlooking the Douro River. Dinner in the luxury dining room was excellent but expensive. Bar food was good and reasonably priced. The pool was nice. We enjoyed the town with winery visits and boat trips. The only really odd thing was that the bottom of the shower door does not come to the floor and water flooded the bathroom floor. This happened to our friends also, so it was not just our room. You learn to stand in one small spot to wash. Odd, I would say. "
