"I could not get in contact with the host for 3 days. Likely because i booked on Expedia they were unable to find my booking. Which, i knew would be a conflict because the system they had wouldn’t let me check in. While i was there, they said i cannot make another booking because they don’t make bookings at the front desk. I requested a refund multiple times and still, no conclusion. Seriously frustrating and unnecessary hassle. I would recommend this location get a front desk service or a customer service line. I do recommend Expedia remove this listing from their page until communication with the website and location gets better."

"There was little to no cleaning of the room from staff, the power went out with no way for us to get into our room and the night staff member didnt have our keycard eventhough we left it with the day staff. Eventhough he did a good job managing things, he was on his own dealing with the majority. The food was okay and when the power did come back we did get to use the service lift. Our bathroom had mould in ir and the shower head had a lot of limescale and dirt."

"I am giving 1 star because the employees of the hotel are kind. As soon as we entered the room there was a dead cockroach on top of the sink. The television did not work at all in the first room and the smell in the hall if you have any type of allergy, do not go. On the second day I went to complain and on our way down the elevator stopped. We talked to the receptionist and she moved us to a different room. The tv in the new room worked, but there was a cockroach running around the room (also caught on video!) and when my daughter took a shower the entire bathroom flooded. We had to ask someone to fix it. It was the first shower in the "new"bathroom. The next day they closed the swimming pool with no previous notice. I am not even going to talk about the food. Very bad food. Not even the French fries. You can see the oil is old. One of the highlights of hotels in Brazil are the breakfast, not in this hotel. No fresh fruits, very low variety of options. I am very glad that we left when we did. A horrible, horrible, experience."
