"Location was good. The property is clean but basic. Good value for money and the staff are very good."

"Our room at Castle 1700 was in the annex, as I had requested. The room and the bathroom we're very clean and comfortable. Mijo was very helpful to us in moving our luggage up and down the steps to our room. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet on one of the two days that we stayed there and it was a very nice breakfast complete with a combination of hot food and cold food options. We really liked staying in the Old City and it was very convenient to many of the shops and the restaurants of old town. I will say that the temperatures outside were very warm while we were there but the air conditioning inside the room was very cool and refreshing and did not disappoint while we were there."

"This hotel has a great location in the heart of the Old town of Split. Taxis cannot go to the hotel itself, but it is a short, flat walk from the north of the old town to the hotel which is easy with suitcases. The hotel has a lift, which is great and the rooms were well air conditioned, quiet and vary large for the central area. The reception staff were extremely helpful and organised us a taxi back to the airport for the next morning and made some good suggestions for restaurants and a great ice-cream parlour. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again"

"We stayed at this property for one night my wife and I and we enjoyed every moment of it. The room was very large, immaculately clean, and hot water. The staff were friendly at all times and it was great our room was ready early. The location is perfectly located right in the heart of all the action to experience restaurants, bars and shops, it is also very quiet. Definitely would recommend :)"

"Location of apartment was excellent, 15 minute walk from central bus station. Very modern room and bathroom, bed & pillow excellent, room ok size, had bar fridge, airconditioning excellent. Bathroom good size, plenty of hot water & water pressure good. Apartment very clean. One point to note is the apartment on 3rd floor and no lift. Overall a great stay, we would not hesitate staying there again. No breakfast was available, but plenty of options around. If you want a real barista cappuccino or coffee as good as you find in Melbourne, try D16 coffee shop, 50 meters away, it's great."
