This was my first time to the Grand Canyon and I think the Plaza was the perfect to stay! Very close to the park entrance , great hotel, and enough stores and restaurants within walking distance AND a cool IMAX theater

Room was very clean. Spacious with a separate bedroom. Downside was ice machine in our building was not working so had to go to the other building but they did get the one on the first floor fixed. Onsite restaurant did not have many food choices and it was very expensive. A few miles from the grand canyon entrance. Has an onsite gift shop. Next door to the GC Visitor center. Food at the visitor center was also expensive. There is one general store in the area and it was expensive as was gas. There are a few steak houses around and a wendys and mcdonalds. The chocolate store across the street has amazing chocolate choices.

Stayed here one night to see the Grand Canyon. It is close to the jeep tour we were to take. Fast food restaurants are close by. Food at the hotel was not very good.

Older property but clean and well-maintained. Staff was very nice. Dog-friendly atmosphere much-appreciated. Had a suite which was great for family of adults needing extra space.

I had an excellent stay here 8 years ago, so I decided to return and see why I enjoyed this hotel. While my second stay wasn’t bad, I was also underwhelmed by the property condition and lack of amenities. The rooms look outdated, the carpet needs to be replaced, and having a balcony overlook the pool and bar area was unusual. Some rooms you enter from outside like a motel, and others you enter from inside and have an outside balcony. I’d like to see this hotel do something to keep up with increasing competition in a popular tourist destination. There was no complementary breakfast, the only hotel on my trip to not offer anything. There’s no gym area either. The location is good, about 10 minutes from the Grand Canyon visitor center. I didn’t like how it was oddly positioned off the main road behind another small plaza, that felt very weird. Overall, I’d stay here if the price is lower than other options in the area.

Only negative at all was bar was extremely busy and short staffed due to main restaurant closed to public for a private event. Great facility and would definitely recommend

This is a very nice property and suited our needs well. Always good to have a separate sleeping and living room while touring along with mini refrigerator and coffee maker. It was right outside the park entrance, where the IMax theater was and The Pink Jeep plus air tours were located.

The property was conveniently located. Staff was friendly and helpful but overall this facility good use an upgrade. The mattresses were not comfortable (nor the pillows). Our shower head was broken as was the refrigerator door. The gym is small and the remote didn’t work. Only one ice machine worked in my building and hand sanitizer dispensers were empty. For the price per night I expected higher quality.

Everything was great at the hotel..the only thing that was wrong our mattresses were not that firm felt broken down😞 But would totally recommend this hotel..
