Everything went so smooth. They were able too check me in early, which after an overnight flight appreciated. Breakfast/ dinner are included and drinks are reasonably priced.

RIU hotel

Fantastic staff and helpful. We booked room facing pool area, which I recommend. Service level up to 5 stars everywhere. Beds are great but in 2 parts. I prefer 1. Bathroom great big shower. 3 pools and one fantastic with view to the beach and only 50 meters from the beach. Fantastic food. Something for everyone. Fantastic Friday party ❤️ ❤️

We were fortunate to be able to find a room when arriving a day earlier than planned. The property is lovely outdoors, very friendly staff in the restaurant. They were shocked for a last minute booking so it was a slower check in. We didn’t arrive on the best day, a strike for hotel employees was creating havoc. We didn’t have great meal experiences. Paper plates, plastic cutlery and no wine available. The room was very tired with minimal amenities, uncomfortable bed and pillows. The pool was closed at 6.

Pleasant stay but too expensive

It was little noisy,I heard TV from other rooms, not always good room service. Breakfast very good and also the dinner.Amazing 2 swimming pools and bar service there.

Good service and facilities with great location

The hotel is in a great location, a short distance from El Duque Sur and only a 20 minute walk to La Caleta. It is spotlessly clean with very service and facilities. We stayed half board and whilst the breakfast offered a great choice and catered for all tastes, the buffet-style evening meal was very disappointing, as was the meal in the Spanish restaurant. If it was available, we would choose to stay bed and breakfast. All-in-all, a very good hotel that we have re-booked for next year.

Lovely place and the beach club shared with the Riu Palace was nice. My gripes were that I’d booked on the strength of gym reviews - the gym is pretty poor in terms of equipment and had lots of machines out of order; I also think it is pretty shocking to charge for rental of the safe in the room.

This is a lovely hotel in a very nice place. The only downside is the large number of steps to access the beach and boardwalk- it may not suit senior citizens, it was a bit of a struggle for my eighty year old father. We bought some really nice local wine, but the hotel would not let us drink it anywhere except our room, even when we offered to pay a corkage fee.

Excellent Costa Adeje Hotel

This was our third holiday in Costa Adeje, and our second in a Riu hotel, having stayed at the Riu Palace last year. We went with some trepidation, as the hotel refurbishment was scheduled for completion three weeks before our arrival on 10 November. Any fears were immediately banished. The hotel was excellent - extremely well managed, with friendly, helpful staff; high quality food with wide choice available, and very reasonably priced, good quality wine. A bonus for us was the fact that the beach area, which originally was part of the Riu Palace Hotel, was now solely available for Arecas guests. It's a lovely, tranquil amenity, well landscaped, and down by the Costa Adeje esplanade.

Cool place Love Sea Eat and Sun

Très bon hôtel, idéalement situé avec un accès direct à la meilleure plage de sable noir de Adeje. Grand parking pour laisser la voiture. Le buffet le soir est varié avec bar à salade, un côté viande, un coté poisson. Les chambres ne sont pas très bien insonorisé et la taille de l’hôtel fait que les femmes de ménages commencent tôt, heuresement vous pourrez vous reposer au bord des 3piscines ou à la plage. Nous avons été début mai 2025 et il y avait majoritairement des personnes âgées.

Situata in un’ottima zona di Tenerife Sud e dotata di posteggio privato, zone comuni curate, stanze di buone dimensioni e pulite (da segnalare solo un po’ di polvere a terra). Due piscine e molto apprezzata anche la spiaggia privata facilmente raggiungibile. Ristorazione (colazione e cena) con tanta scelta anche se con proposte semplici. Nota negativa: il bar della spiaggia non ha nulla per un pranzo rapido (insalate, panini, ecc) pertanto tocca salire in piscina o mangiare all esterno, un peccato vista la location piacevole. Complessivamente consigliato.
