Fab cottage. Really well presented and stocked with everything you need for a stay. Not really much around it but that's what we loved. Owner lives next door and is very helpful and friendly. Loved our stay.

Met by Kirin and taken around to show everything.
Met by Kirin and taken around to show everything. The location is quiet with the occasional visit from the chickens and ducks. Lovely. The property was superb, centrally heated but with a log burner if you wanted it. Everything there you would need. Enormous kitchen and ideal for up to 4 people. Big TV, wifi with excellent reception. Very Very clean throughout. Nearest co-op at Ancaster about 6 miles away which has most things you will need. The Green Man pub in Ropsley is great for food if you don't want to cook. Perfect place for quiet week.

We had a lovely relaxing stay.
We had a lovely relaxing stay. Cottage was lovely and was so well equipped had everything you needed. The owner Kirin is so lovely, friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, the whole family are lovely. We had daily visits from the chickens. Couldn’t recommend this cottage enough, we will definitely be back. There are lots to do in the area and lovely places to visit, would recommend Rutland Water and Stamford. The local pub is nice for food, but will need a car to get there. Thanks again to Kirin and her family for making us feel so welcome.

Ropsley Farm Property
Advertised as 2 bathrooms, but only one shower downstairs was usable. Heating in downstairs bedroom and bathroom connected to next door boiler. Thermostat on radiator broken, so had no control of the heat in the bedroom. Broken thermostat reported to owners. On our last day a heavy rain shower resulted in water coming through a poorly fitted window in the kitchen, which flooded the work surface and onto the floor . We mopped this up with tea towels. Could be a very nice place to stay but needs maintainance. If you have any breathing or heart problems the large biomass boiler gives off very strong smoke polution, so would not recommend.
