Lovely
We found this to be a great set up. Breakfast when we liked, a sitting room too. We had a visit from someone and it was good to be able to chat in the sitting room (as opposed to a hotel room)!

Most enjoyable weekend
Enjoyed our weekend away in this Annexe. Situated in a quiet area of the village within easy walking distance of the attractive village of Castle Bytham. Lovely lounge from which you can enjoy views of the owners gardens; everything provided for a substantial breakfast after a goods nights rest in what has to be the most comfortable bed I've ever experienced.

Quiet comfortable stay

More than a b&b
First class accommodation with everything you could need. Hosts are welcoming and on hand if needed. Comfortable beds with lovely crisp fresh linens and big fluffy towels, excellent shower. This is more than a b&b, it’s like having a little holiday cottage without a kitchen, but there is a fridge, microwave, kettle & coffee machine. Breakfast is left in the accommodation and plentiful. Highly recommend Rectory Farm Annexe that is set in a lovely village, we popped into the Castle Inn pub for a drink, the locals are welcoming and friendly.

Excellent hidden gem
We had a wonderful stay here and would highly recommend it - one of the best little boutique places that we have stayed at. The hosts were fantastic, the facilities were excellent and the place spotless and very spacious - your own little mini cottage. Ideal for a weekend getaway!

My wife and I were attending a BBQ in the next village and booked the Rectory Farm Annexe from the other reviews and the photographs we had seen. The main building and annexe are both absolutely stunning. The grounds are very private and quiet and everything about it is outstanding. The owner apologised in advance that he may no be present the following day during our departure however breakfast was prepared and left in the fridge and unit in the living room of the annexe for us. The sun was out and we sat in the lounge with the french doors open eating a fantastic breakfast. My only regret is that we only spent one night there and the next time we are in that area will have no hesitation to book again.

Very quiet hotel in lovely country village
Beautiful setting, lovely rooms, all facilities you could want, clean, great large double bed, delicious breakfast. For me, just one problem: the sofa was too low (creaking knees) and very uncomfortable, but that's just me!

Perfect Getaway in a quiet location
An excellent B&B accommodation in a quiet village with a first rate pub (The Castle) for evening meals. The self contained accommodation was very comfortable and the provided breakfast was superb. It’s a perfect getaway.

WONDERFUL ACCOMMODATION AND VILLAGE
The "annexe" is a wonderful place to stay (tastefully decorated and very comfy bed) and thoroughly recommend but like another reviewer, found it very difficult to find (and that was with sat nav AND asking people in the village!!). The address is actually the CORNER of Glen Road and Coulthorpe Lane. Host Barney was quick to organise our evening meal for us at The Castle pub. Highly recommend as well but be prepared for the local villagers to be warm and inclusive!!!

Quaint and comfortable. Very quiet location. Walking distance to great pub The Castle Inn. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The lounge room very spacious for our 3 night stay.

First Class in every respect. A home from home and the owners of the property can be justifiably proud of the presentation, condition and service that they provide. Breakfast was outstanding, and antthing else which was not provided would have been if requested. The location is perfect as a getaway or even as a base to explore. The local village is ideal and the Castle pub serves excellent food. Thankyou to Barney and his family, well done we shall return in the future.
