"Lovely spacious accommodation, very good value for money, and good location, but it is a care home for the elderly, so a weird unexpected environment."
"Hotel recently refurbished to a high standard and in central area, with underground parking, although limited and at extra cost, an added bonus. Near bars, restaurants and shops all within walking distance, an ideal location."
"This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The hotel is part of a very large restaurant with good food and good service. "We spent a lovely few days with Jean-Phillipe and Michelle in this very tranquil and beautiful part of rural France. Jean-Phillipe had some local wines available to sample and also has a BBQ that can be used and a games room. The swimming pool was very clean and everything very well maintained.
It’s a short drive to Saumur where there are shops and restaurants and activities such as bike hire. Would recommend."

"Hemos pasado un hermoso en Saumur y especialmente en el hotel Anne d' Anjou. Todo 100 puntos, el edificio, la comodidad de la habitacion y de la cama. Desayuno exelente y el staff muy servicial y simpaticos. "
"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our bicycles were stored safely. Breakfast had a great choice. It was easy to walk and find food. Even though it is across from the railway station we heard very little noise from trains. Great value for money. "
"WOW, what an amazing place!
We stayed for one night as part of a big birthday celebrations, but wish we’d stayed longer. It’s absolutely beautiful.
Staff were lovely, nothing was too much trouble.
Walking distance to the bars and restaurants.
Thank you for a lovely time, we will definitely be back 殺❤️"
