"Great house, very comfortable -- especially the living room/great room. Everything was spotless and in working order. Terrific location (5-10 minutes from town), Lauren was always available to answer questions. Owner gives very thorough instructions on how to use appliances, etc. Lots to do in the area. "

"It all happened electronically which at first was making me nervous it wasn’t going to work but their instructions were perfect and clear with frequent reminders. Room very clean (seemed very new) and perfect for what we needed. Bed comfortable. Plenty of parking. Beautiful setting. "

"Great location- just a quick walk to shops and restaurants- clean-quiet neighborhood -comfortable bed and furniture and the washer and dryer was a plus. Kitchen had plenty of cookware and dishes. Keep in mind if you have any issues with stairs that the only bathroom is upstairs and the laundry is in the basement."

"Wonderful stay at this property!! We really enjoyed the beautiful house, pool and grounds. We did have an issue with the fire pit however the house manager responded very quickly. The problem was solved and the equipment was in working order the same day. The location was close to town and two large supermarkets. We hope to return again to this beautiful property! Great place!"

"I loved staying in this house for a month. The large screened porch was my favorite place to sit in the morning with a good cup of coffee and a book. Extremely well equipped with kitchenware, it was a joy to cook, there was plenty of space for me and my guests, and I enjoyed the proximity to Great Barrington restaurants and stores and Lake Mansfield. Didier was always responsive and helpful."

"Entire house, including bathrooms were very clean. Open, airy and private as advertised. Decks on the East and South great for relaxing and eating. Only minor downside is that the limited shoulders on Alford road require extreme caution if walking to town. Not a problem for cyclists, however. We have vacationed in the Berkshires for over 35 years. This property rates in our top 1-2%."
