"We returned to the Chambery Inn to celebrate my wife's birthday and the Memorial Day weekend. We were very happy with our choice. We stayed in a beautiful room (203), which included a spacious sitting area and a well-appointed bath. The breakfast were nicely prepared and presented. The Inn provided timely information prior and during our stay. We will be back in the future. "

"This was one of the best motels I've stayed in. Normally motels are older and musty. This was very bright, no smell. White bathroom was very clean. Comfortable bed. It's set a little back on the main road. Because it was cool, we turned off the AC and opened the rear window. It was quiet. Check in/out was easy. Reasonable for the area. Highly recommend."

"Very nice property with views of the surrounding mountains Very close to Great Barrington about 30 minutes from Tanglewood and Jacob’s pillow It is in a neighborhood with other houses but very quietWater in the pool was warm!!I would highly recommend 2 small commentsIt would be nice to have better coffee maker like drip coffee or fancier pods then the current Koerig Also a document with recommendations for restaurants and things to do would be a nice touch Otherwise great"

"Entire house, including bathrooms were very clean. Open, airy and private as advertised. Decks on the East and South great for relaxing and eating. Only minor downside is that the limited shoulders on Alford road require extreme caution if walking to town. Not a problem for cyclists, however. We have vacationed in the Berkshires for over 35 years. This property rates in our top 1-2%."

"This was a return stay at Eden Rock. The room is modern, well-appointed, clean, with very comfortable beds. Access to an outside area is pleasant. Quiet location, convenient to Great Barrington and Berkshire attractions. While there is no front desk or reception area, instructions for accessing the room are easy to follow."

"This beautifully restored property has great bones with plenty of space to not get in each other’s way. We were 4 mature adults who love culture…..about 12 miles to Tanglewood or take a nice drive to Williamstown/MassMoca, Pittsfield Barrington Theatre et al. Easy access to center of Great Barrington. House is well kept - could use some redecoration but I was an interior designer so I’m fussy!!!"
