"All staff were great, our room was spotlessly clean."

"Stayed here while attending an appointment at Papworth Hospital and had a great experience. The hotel was excellent value for money, in a peaceful location, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well presented. The staff were lovely, and having a bar and restaurant on site was a real bonus. We ordered drinks and dessert, both of which were delicious. I would happily stay here again if the price is right."

"Staff are always friendly and helpful, lovely atmosphere in the pub with a great choice of good value food and beers. Very comfortable room."

"Great hotel"

"Overall this is a nice place to stay, The staff are excellent as is the restaurant and food.. We stayed in Room 1 located in the main building which was extremely dated but was clean and comfortable…"

"A beautiful stop over food was excellent will be coming back."

"Good breakfast plenty of choice."

"This pub/hotel was way out in the Suffolk countryside and was a very comfortable room. Good views and peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was good also."

"Decent hotel, good breakfast, friendly staff."

"Very helpful staff, very good food indeed for dinner in the restaurant. Their 17th Century main building is very interesting. They have a large car park . At night there is no road traffic noise. The bedroom heating and the electric bathroom towel rail didn't respond to the controls so both rooms were cold. The ceiling lighting was very inadequate and the bed's mattress felt cheap, Despite the issues I would stay here again."
