Glasgow Green, by the river, is a great place tovisit on a sunny day. Photograph monuments, view the exhibits on social historyand horticulture and let the kids play in the playground of the People's Palaceand Winter Gardens, the oldest park in the city.

The oldest pub in Glasgow,Scotia Bar, is not far from here. Taste of single malt whiskeys and ales or askthe locals how Rangers and Celtic are doing. The Hall of Fame football islocated in Hampden, the Scottish national football stadium, which also servesas a music venue. The more intimate King Tut's Wah Wah Hut is also an acclaimedconcert hall of Glasgow.
