Beautiful place! Mosquitoes arrived in full force at about 7 pm so the pool bar waitress served us dinner and drinks in the indoor lounge area. So lovely!

Very pleasant hotel !
Very nice hotel with ample green gardens. Very good beach facilities and beach club restaurant. Nice pool. Room/bathroom nicely renovated. Bathroom apt for invalids. Big balconies. Quiet hotel, spread out and very pleasant. Excellant breakfast buffet and area.

Tired 4 star hotel but with a lovely beach.
A very average stay, if it wasn't for the lovely beach and comfortable beach beds i would be fairly disappointed with this hotel. I had read other reviews so when we arrived and it was a very tired 4 star not 5 star i wasn't over surprised. I found most of the staff really friendly and helpful. Only came across one rude member of staff and I think he was the beach bar manager (tall guy with glasses and swept back hair) he was very rude and unhelpful. We paid extra for a private swimming pool but didn’t use it as it was filthy. My biggest problem with the hotel was the design of the shower, placed half way up the bath with a screen behind you so you could hardly move and when you did move the screen moved and flooded the floor (very strange design). Hotel in a pretty decent location with nice beaches and tavernas near by.

This is the perfect hotel for spending holidays in Skiathos. Perfect location on an excellent sandy beach with comfortable beach chairs and umbrellas allocated only for the hotel customers. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful. Took advantage of the beach side restaurant location to walk to dinner and have drinks. It was great. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Skiathos.

Great hotel with beautiful private beach
It was our second stay at Skiathos Princess. Our first stay a few years ago was fantastic, but this one didn’t match the same expectations unfortunately. While the hotel has an amazing potential and a great beach and garden, it starts to feel a bit outdated. Nothing that can’t be fixed of course. The design, especially the bathrooms, are quite outdated. The food at the restaurant was very good, but again, not excellent as the previous time. The same goes for the service. But overall we had a great stay and I’d still recommend the hotel. It would be great if they would consider an overall renovation and update of the property. We’ll definitely come back.

Very good hotel.
Overall very good hotel. Fantastic location with direct access to a private beach. Good food especially the beach restaurant. Superior deluxe room great for a family of 4 as it’s effectively 2 rooms in 1. Service was a bit disappointing but heard that’s common across Greece this year due to COVID. There are a handful of restaurants within close walking distance + a supermarket + ATM. Only snag is you have to cross road which can be tricky with children as hotel is on the bend.

The Princess Hotel is in a beautiful setting with gorgeous ocean views. Staff were very professional and accommodating as we wanted to add a few extra days. They took care of this swiftly. Helen in the spa was also very friendly. Gréât buffet in the morning ! Would definitely return next year for a longer stay.

Excellent beach front location. Helpful staff. Food mediocre - better value and quality at the tavernas across the road. We went in September and there was an end of term feeing with the beach restaurant closed in the evening and no evening entertainment. Dining room a bit souless.

Lovely hotel, excellent food. Beach area pool and sun beds all great. Great restaurant next to the beach serving lunch and snacks by the beach also. Drinks on the pricy side was the only downside so we went elsewhere in the evenings and the bars in the hotel were empty. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definanetly go back if visiting Skiathos

Nice Beach
This was my second stay at the Skiathos Princess Hotel. It is nice but not great. The rooms are somewhat dated. Stay here if you are looking to spend most of your time at the beach. Its about 20 minutes from town. The pool was cold and some of the equipment at the gym was broken. I had a massage and facial at the spa. Massage ok, facial consisted mostly of masques technician would apply and then leave for 10 minutes at a time. The beach restaurant had nice ambiance and very good service. The staff was very attentive. Front desk was not a favorable experience.

We ve been there for the last 4 years so that should speak for itself ! It’s Greek 5 star but great position with pool sea and rooms really close ... very safe for the kids to have the freedom to run around ! We love it !

Great hotel and great location right on the beautiful beach. The only thing that lets it down and it is a big let down is the in room air con. It is centrally controlled but nowhere near efficient enough. The lowest temperature the room got to overnight was 26.5 degrees which makes it pretty impossible for a good nights sleep. Rectify this big issue and the place would be perfect

Reception, very good. Rooms, excellent. Service, in breakfast the staff very impolite, terrible. Even though they say free wifi, in the room and balcony, common areas and beach no coverage at all. Spent a week at this hotel in June 2019. The food served in the Main restaurant was of excellent quality and there was so much to choose from. The staff were very welcoming and polite. We Stayed in a standard garden room which was ideal for us as we had a small child. Cleanliness of the Hotel was very good. Plenty of sun beds surrounded the outside pools and having the lovely sandy beach with sun beds and parasols provided by the Hotel was only a short walk away. The only downside we found was the lack of evening entertainment.

Recent stay - good value
Difficult to tell how good the hotel was since I had a room which wasn't yet upgraded. Hence the room was old and needed a complete remodel, but since it was the lowest category room the new owners haven't done the work yet. The staff were great, especially the front desk manager who knew guests names somehow. The beach has ample chairs, they serve a fantastic breakfast, and the beach restaurant is delicious. Good value for the price.

Our wonderful experience
The hotel is in a lovely position with gardens and restaurants leading Onto the beach and oool area. There is a pool Bar and a beach Bar which supply a good selection of snacks or meals. Upon our arrival our room had a bath with a shower over the bath, this wasn’t ideal for me as I have Fibromyalgia and have difficulty getting in and out of the bath. When I let the hotel know my situation they moved us immediately to a room which had a walk in shower. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel manager Amd the hotel reception Manager went out of their way to check on us each day. the Manager was often seen walking the grounds and in the hotel which you don’t see very often in other hotels. All the staff were friendly and polite and always on hand. The Beach was clean and well looked after anyone not belonging to the hotel trying to use the hotel beds were quickly removed and sent back to the public beach area. There is also a little shop on the beach which is handy if you don’t want to walk to the beach bar you can purchase most items and drinks. Would recommend the hotel to everyone just make sure when you book you let them know if you have problems with stairs or getting into a bath and they will make sure you have an appropriate room. The hotel is open to all ages from young families with children to old retired travellers.

his is not a 5 star hotel at all. The staff is truly incompetent. There is NO working WIFI. Be warned. There is no one to press/iron a suit jacket. The seating by the beach is worn out and broken. The AC leaks. The pillows and bed are hard as rocks. The rooms are dated from 10 years ago. TThe shower are old and just bathtubs with shower heads attached.

Hotel is tired and the staff, particularly the doorman and manager are a disgrace. We were abused for getting into a taxi that we ordered and was never apologised to. We met with the manager who said that the doorman had been there for 15 years and English was a problem! Funny that we had not been treated like that at any other hotel in 6 weeks of being in Italy and Greece!! They had several opportunities to redeem themselves and chose just to be rude.. the last opportunity was that we left a top on the balcony and they want 65 euro to forward it on... Unfortunately for us this ruined our experience in Skiathos as we could not even go through the front entrance as we were frightened of the doorman. So I suggest you stay at another hotel.

Excellent hotel with direct access to the most beautiful beach of the island. Very friendly staff. Rooms are simple but good. mattress could be better. Breakfast buffet is excellent particularly if you like eggs and sweet stuff. Restaurant probably one of the best on the island. Couple of things to improve: shuttle service to town, wifi that works properly. Can really recommend hotel.

The hotel was excellent. Parking was available. Room was very clean. Large patio. Beach was 100 meters from our room. Breakfast was incredible. There were restaurants in hotel as well as multiple taverns and a super market across the street.

First class luxury
Wonderful resort. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Spacious and very clean room. Direct, private beach access. Fantastic taverna with live music on the beach. A must stay if you’re looking for something special.

Nice Hotel, close to the beach
The hotel presents a magnificent image and is clean and elegantly furnished. The staff are extremely attentive and helpful. There is a wonderful pool area and the hotel is close to the beach. The reason that the comfort rating above is only 3 is because the beds in our twin-bedded room had incredibly hard mattresses which brought on a recurrence of a shoulder problem for my wife. The hotel also seems not to be prepared for bad weather as, unfortunately, it rained quite a lot during our four-night stay and the cushions on the beach loungers and the poolside loungers were never moved out of the rain or covered up to protect them. The result was that, when the sun did peep out, the canvas beach cushions were so damp that it seeped through to one's towels when sitting on them. The plastic covers on the poolside cushions were left wet on top in the mornings and the insides made them like a cold waterbed to sit or lie upon.

Great hotel right on the beach
Everything that you want here for a relaxing holiday. We went 2nd week of September and had a deluxe room (474) - great view from the balcony, with shower and bath. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly. Loved the breakfast with the fold-back doors so even if you couldn't get a outside table then you felt you were outside anyway........and a good choice of food. Lots of comfortable places to site, excellent beach bar and the best part of the hotel was strolling through the lawns onto the beach where there were a plentiful supply of beds and parasols. Water sports on the public beach next door - a stroll away for the energetic. Soft sand and beautiful clear water.....pretty good for snorkelling too! Bus stop (no 16) 50 yards from hotel which will take you along the main road....either all the way to Koukanaries beach (26) or Skiathos town (4 or 1) ...both of which are only about 15 mins journey....or anywhere inbetween....and run every 15 mins. 1.6EUR single - pay on bus....which can get pretty crowded at peak times

a very nice location and super beach. Hotel is trying to be a 5 star but is missing those little things which would make it 5 star. A little TLC is needed in the rooms and around the hotel. I would class the hotel as a good 4 star. Enjoyable holiday and yes I would go back to the same hotel.
