The disappointment was someone vaping in there room and set off the fire alarm at 3 different intervals during the night which was startling and terrifying, and disrupted what was supposed to be a treat for myself and my friend.

The room was very clean but the single bed mattress was a sinking ship. There was a lot of noise from the outside boiler, so not helpful to sleep. It's a pity that they provide a kettle and coffee tea products, however not a single bottle of water to make it. Being a 4 star hotel, they are lacking in star attention.
The pool really needs updating, lots of scratches on the feet from damaged tiles and it requires a hat, which we didn't know and you have to pay for it.
Breakfast was good, but more towards the 2/3 star standard.
Nonetheless, the staff were really friendly and helpful. And when you have free undercover parking you have to be glad about it.
