    "Pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and size of the room. It wasn’t as nyc tiny as I expected, and though it’s older, it was well maintained. Simple but a great place to sleep as we explored the city by day. Location was also great—very close to the action in Times Square but enough off the beaten path to be a little quieter. We will stay here again."

    "We have chosen the Shelborne Sonesta for 15+ years, back when it was the Affinia and the Rare bar was a popular hangout! We did not make it to the rooftop this year, but the reopening and expansion was very nice the last time we visited. Some of the rooms are a little dated, but the location in midtown/Murray Hill and the welcoming staff, makes this an easy choice for return trips. See you next year!"

    "Best city hotel we have ever stayed in - and we have traveled around the world a fair bit. The concierge gave our son a little Sofitel stuffy and waterbottles that we still use to this day, to refill water instead of using one time plastic bottles. The rooms are wonderful, big and clean. There’s a shower and bath. Truly awesome and will come back whenever we are in NYC."

"The Edison is convenient to Times Square and theaters. Given all the hustle and bustle outside, it’s surprisingly quiet. Elevators were quick. Bed was a little lumpy but seems to be a minor inconvenience. Breakfast at Friedman’s for $6.50pp was a nice addition."
