"Great hotel - clean, in a quiet area, relatively new, and helpful staff. Excellent air conditioning too which was especially appreciated. About a 20 minute walk to Oxford university with option for bus. Would stay again!"

"Ideal location for getting the bus into Oxford. Room size, layout and furniture all good. Mattress too hard for me (not a great night's sleep) but fine for my husband. Ceiling cobwebs. Bathroom door needed cleaning. Sink cracked. Bathroom otherwise beautifully clean. Nice toiletries. Wi-fi very patchy. Staff were good and attentive."

"The room was spacious, had a comfortable bed, and great shower. It was very plain white with minimal decoration. No air conditioning, but a good floor fan that kept us sufficiently comfortable. You are given a security code for self check in and the rooms are up a staircase to the second floor. You can hear other people open and close their doors but no one bothered us. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants -- middle Eastern, Chinese, Turkish, Gelato-- and convenient shops and buses nearby. Lots of wonderful languages spoken in this area and friendly people. It's about a 15 minute walk to the tourist info as t city center where we picked up the hop on, hop off tourist bus (good idea). We'd stay there again"

"Beautiful property with lovely garden. Property has 5 levels so perfect for young family. Three fans provided to circulate air. Great mattresses and bath is wonderful. Location is great with easy walk to restaurants, market and Magdalen College."

"Stayed in room 3 for 2 nights, the room was clean and modern, but the tv didn’t have a remote control available and when a replacement was provided the tv still wouldn’t work. Thats why I’ve given 4 stars and not 5."

"We enjoyed our stay in Oxford. The property was a little out of the way (from City Centre) and it took us a day to figure out the bus system, but once we had navigated it a few times, it was fine. The suite was nicely appointed with everything we needed. Many thanks to our host, who popped in on Day 3 to see how we were doing (and showed us how to open the garden door). We loved your home and your neighbourhood! Linda and Tim (from Winnipeg, CANADA)"
