Beautiful apartment house "Chalet Smaragd". In the district of Gydisdorf, 200 m from the centre, excellent location: right in the centre but still quiet, south facing position. For shared use: natural pond. In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer. Linen change weekly. In Winter: please take snow chains. Communal covered parking. Grocery 350 m, supermarket, shopping centre 700 m, restaurant, bar, bicycle rental 200 m, 2 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Firstbahn" 200 m, railway station "Grindelwald Dorf" 850 m, outdoor swimming pool 2.5 km, indoor swimming pool 800 m. Golf course (9 hole) 1.5 km, tennis 1 km, minigolf 350 m, sports centre 800 m, mountain railway 850 m, gondola lift, ski rental, ski bus stop 200 m, cross country ski track 1 km, ice rink, children's playground 800 m. Well-known ski regions can easily be reached: Thuner-/Brienzersee 18 km. Please note: ski bus (free of charge). The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Grindelwald. Die Wohnung ist sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Die Räume bieten für 2 Personen ausreichend Platz. Die Austattung ist knapp bestückt und bei den Messern sollten alle ersetzt werden. Die Matraze ist durchgelegen und so ungenügend.

Would be great if they can give clearer instructions (XXX) of exactly where to find the staff and the lodge. I took us 2 hours to find out. The house itself is superb. Great conditions. Laundry facilities is excellent... although it took us some time to figure out how to use them.

schöne Wohnung, Matratze mangelhaft

Die Wohnung ist insgesamt betrachtet schön und modern. Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet, das Wohnzimmer auch. Einziger Minuspunkt: das Bett wurde verschlimmgebessert, da es mit einer "hightech" Matratze mit Oberschicht weichem Schaumgummi ausgestattet.
