"Two nights using the hotel as a base to visit Nova Gorica and Bled. Breakfast buffet was extensive - continental choices plus scrambled eggs and British sausage. Room was spacious and bed was very comfortable. The dining room staff sometimes does double duty at registration desk. Lots of tourist information. Bus stop is a 5 minute walk and train station is a couple of minutes longer."

"Where to start. I came for 1 day and i stayed for 4. Really enjoyed my stay! The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Thank you Jana and Leon for helping me plan, making my life easier by checking early, storing my backpack while i was hiking in the mountains and for the chats. The hostel is very clean, beds very comfortable, lovely working kitchen that opens up to the dining area where you can hang out with other travelers. Perfectly situated right next to the bus stop and with most shops a short walk away. It was a perfect base for my hiking trip."

"Overall spacious for our group of 9 and had great views. House is showing a little wear (countertops/scuffs) and would love a full drip coffee pot instead of press for number of guests. Parking is tight to navigate/turn around (had two cars). But overall good for value and location as we went to soca valley, gorge, bled and lake Bohinj. "

"We had chosen to stay in this hotel for the proximity of the Bohinj and Bled lakes. It was perfect for us, we did a lot of hiking. You can easily start a trip directly from the hotel. We liked the breakfast and the dinner in the hotel. Dinner is in buffet, not an abundance of choice, but everything was tasty, and the staff made sure everything was constantly refilled. The people at the reception have been very helpful and friendly. We also liked the pool in the adjacent aquapark. Perfect to relax after a long hike. For our next trip to Slovenia we might stay here again."

"First the land around the property is amazing and as beautiful as mentioned. Sights and trails are available more so if you life walking hills. On occasion, depending where you walk, traffic is really close and for some reason everyone wants to drive fast on the narrow windy roads. Things not mentioned, the apartment is upstairs, 2 flights of stairs. So don’t pack heavy. Pet friendly for sure, but be prepared to walk your pet up and down the stairs. It’s mentioned that you have the apartment to yourself but the owner lives downstairs. The stove has 2 small pilots so ensure you don’t plan to cook big meals indoors. The bedrooms were fine, but if you expect soft blankets and soft towels bring your own. There is no washer and dryer. All items for kitchen and dining are provided. There is a small counter top oven. Now for some reason the owner also likes to meet with renters, which makes sense since she lives downstairs, but I’d rather have the keys left for me somewhere so I can enter the property at my leisure. Also, upon the exit you have to schedule the time you are leaving to hand the keys over to the owner and again I’d rather leave them in a drop box. The weekend I chose was difficult because my family and I and the property owner were very busy so meeting up was not easy. And she loves to call or message early. So if you have any issues don’t expect to sleep in because she was calling me by 730 am every day of the weekend. The property owner means well and is a very nic"
