"Good value however the entire pool is front row cabanas and they charge an additional 92 dollars a day to use them. So if you think you are going to lounge by the pool and relax you only get 2nd row of the pool for most of it. The loungers on the non cabana side are taken first thing in the morning and unless you get up really early you may not even get a spot at the pool. They also do not open the bars until 11 am. Don’t plan on any mimosas before that while on vacation. I have never been to an all inclusive with such limited hours. Entertainment was just okay. We stayed 3 days and that was plenty. It would be extremely boring due to how small the pool and entertainment area are to stay longer. "

"Room was clean, staff were great, food was ehhh (not unusual for all inclusive). Gorgeous property with amazing views. The beach area is very small but we had no problem finding chairs. No cabanas. The gym could use some upgrades. Overall, it was an amazing stay, highly recommend. "

"I have stayed in 5diamond hotels before but this one is a must if you want to relax, or have fun because it does have access to the riu parties the staff was very nice the restaurants were so good i do give this. 5/5 no one pressures you to purchase anything additional or timeshares which we loved that everything was so near the beach the restaurants the pools "

"The room was always very clean and smelled very good. Pools were cleaned, but many people hold their seats with towels, so get out there early, or you will have no seats. Mainly in building 1 and the adult pool. On the last day, they got strict and started removing people's stuff from chairs that were used for 1/2 hour or more. "

"Our stay at GR Solaris in Cancun was disappointing. First, the quality of the food was not what we expected, and one of us fell ill with food poisoning that night. The following day, health inspectors were on-site, as several guests had reported food poisoning from the same meal. Additionally, at check-in, the staff were not helpful; we weren’t informed about the hotel amenities, how to book, or the location of security. Despite being VIP Expedia members with a VIP dinner included, it was never provided. Furthermore, the bathroom had issues: the drains were not working properly, and the sink faucet was leaking. Noise between rooms was excessive, making it feel like guests were in the same space. Overall, it was a poor experience, and we do not recommend this hotel."
