"Hotel has good rating on hotels.com but after booking, reviews on sites such as expedia, were not that great. Location is great, amenities are dated and so are the rooms. The walls are thin, the carpet is old and the elevators are shabby due to the hotel needing to be updated. The staff at the desk are not friendly, but the staff everywhere else are very friendly and accommodating. I suggest bringing your own beach chairs and umbrellas as the hotel charges $30/day for them. The other rental company charges more than that. This is a good place for a quick getaway, but if you're looking for resort style and upscale, this ain it. "

"The stay was okay overall, nothing terrible but nothing special either. If you pay a lower rate it might be acceptable for what you get. However, if you’re paying anything above 200 PER NIGHT, it’s definitely not worth the price. The experience just doesn’t match the cost."

Lady in the breakfast area( missed her name) was awesome with friendly smile on her face :). Cleanliness was also top-notch. The rooms and shared spaces were very well cleaned, creating a comfortable and hygienic environment throughout my stay. Finally, the location was ideal, making it easy to get around and explore nearby attractions. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. "

"Overall it's a nice place for a good price. If you get an interior room then understand you will listen to kids play and splash around until 10PM every night. There are exterior rooms for those who have an issue with that. The only beach access near you in walking distance is half a mile or so near the back porch restaurant. Turn left at the light."
