"We loved everything except trying to get into the building. We did not have the code we needed and were out in the cold."

"We stayed in the condos, and our view was blocked by trees. Very small pillows for the bed which gave me a neck issue so that was disappointing"

"We had a wonderful time with our children and grandchildren. The weather wasn't great but the home is large enough to spread out and enjoy. The lakefront is beautiful. We did get to spend some time outside (rained on an off) and it was nice. A little sandy beach area for the little ones to enjoy, which they did. A much appreciated large grass area. We setup soccer nets, badminton-volleyball net, plenty of room outside to enjoy! The location is great, close to downtown Elk Rapids and restaurants. "

"This home has 3 spacious bedrooms on the living & kitchen level (older folks) and 2 more and a TV/Game room below (teenage boys ) We especially liked the large back deck lake view, galley kitchen with modern appliances, a special tap for drinking water and the driveway basketball hoop. The living room has a nice couch and desk with 2 monitors. WI-FI worked well.Our dog loved the big yard and the designated pet relief area.The main drawback was that lake access within walking distance was 2 tiny "beaches." and the view of the lake is minimal. We enjoyed Elk Rapids, a 20-minute drive, with large beaches, shops, bars and restaurants and the Art Walk, a wooded trail with 35 sculptures--all close to each other. "
