"Casa Restelli" was built in 1898 from granite by three Italian workers, along with two other houses, and is situated directly on the north-south axis, not far from the Gotthard Pass. The Wassen highway exit is 4 km away. The entire house is a listed historic building and occupies a prominent location in the Wiler district on the Reuss River.

“Davide Restelli”—one of the three Italian builders—constructed the house in the centre of the village, on the largest plot of land not far from the Reuss River in the so-called Wiler district of Gurtnellen, which is part of the Upper Reuss Valley.

The house has been family-owned for many years. The residents are quiet, and the holiday apartment faces south.
