"This was the perfect place for my son and me to stay for a week, with beautiful scenery, stunning views, and complete peace and quiet that made it feel like our own private field. There was plenty of space for others to join with tents if needed, and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, along with their lovely dog. We enjoyed the games provided and relaxing evenings around the fire pit. It’s also just a 10-minute drive to the closest beach, while still being within easy driving distance of all the main sights Cornwall has to offer. Although the roads are a little off the beaten track, my small car managed them fine, going slow and steady, and the whole place is full of charm— 10/10 stay. Thank you!"

"Was surprisingly easily to find. A heads up that the roads surrounding the barn are narrow two way country lanes and the road leading up to the barn is very gravelly. The property was lovely and clean and the atmosphere was great. It’s about a 35 minute drive to St Ives and a 10 minute drive to Tesco Superstore. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at this lovely hotel. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, the room was spacious and clean with plenty of room for our family of four plus a large dog, opening out onto a small patio area and garden. The pool was small but welcoming and a treat for the children. The breakfast was outstanding and all staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable amd satisfied with our stay. Highly recommend."

"We had a lovely mini break here, the little cottage/barn conversion is set down a farm track in a beautiful rural location. A short 20min walk to the local village with a lovely pub, and local shop.Good location for popping out to see things, but also perfectly equipped home from home for a little R&R.Highly recommend if you're looking for a little rural retreat."

"Very special place, peaceful and quiet. Viv was a wonderful host, especially as I was a lone traveller. Gorgeous bedroom and balcony up in the apple trees, lovely views. Dreamy. Would love to return and just wish I could have stayed longer."

"bedrooms and public areas newly renovated, bathroom needs updating - shower in Morning was barely a trickle. for Dinner there is a pub and chip shop on my visit resturant kitchin was closed and they were only serving food from the chip shop that was fine but limited menu as chip shop food with resturant comfort also no aircon in rooms and not a fan even!!"

"Shine Chalet is a perfect for a short/long stay for a couple. The premise is clean, modern and smart, there is more than adequate space, it is well equipped, the bed is comfortable and a very nice shower, one issue is the minute hand basin, which barely big enough for it’s function. There is nice outside space with table and chairs and a tidy and sizeable car parking area."
