Nice place and great views from the balcony. Zillions of things to do. Local travel agency can arrange many trips and car rentals. Due to very tough parking in the area I would advise against bringing a car, and relying on Bolt and public transport instead. Possibly rent a car when leaving the area.

Absolutely loved the hotel and the experience! Had a Seaview which was gorgeous! The staff were friendly and helpful and everything was great making it a lovely trip!

Firstly, I want to stress that the staff at this hotel were lovely. Polite, friendly, accommodating, and the cleaning staff were excellent, as is the restaurant Grana. We were told “We have a spa and the pool across the road for you to use” - yes the pool was available, and I did take a dip. It was supposed to be heated and it was, barely, but pleasant enough. The jacuzzi on the top floor was neither heated, nor working, nor was the steam room, or sauna, which was disappointing. “We offer you a welcome drink, whatever you like, just go to the bar” the options were actually wine, Prosecco or juice, only between 6-7pm, and in the breakfast room where no one else was at that time. I felt like a dirty little secret, and we weren’t told until days into our trip that these were the restrictions, it would have been better to know when we arrived. The rooms were clean and spacious, but the toiletries weren’t great. I’d advise you bring your own shower gel and shampoo, or else buy it at the hotel shop (open 24/7) or the cash and carry next to the hotel. We were on the 2nd floor, and could hear a lot of noise from outside, people yelling/singing at night, trucks beeping in the mornings. If you’re a light sleeper, play some white noise. Breakfast was buffet style, offering the usual, but I’ve never had to queue for it before here, the dining hall is too small really, and staff were rushed. Some days we got a dirty table, or we couldn’t get clean cutlery, or a hot drink.

The property was amazing to stay in, the location was great, you’re walking distance to all ferry’s as well as some amazing bars and restaurants. Only down fall would’ve been, we were expecting house keeping daily, they were outside on our floor which had 6-8 rooms, with at least 2-4 staff members chatting and messing around and in our whole stay had house keeping once.

The Strand Sliema
Room was good, breakfast was bad. To be fair what we paid I have no complaints and as I say the room was very comfortable. Its a good location for Sliema and Valletta but you are at the bar end so its busy. The beach club over the road has very limited music or it did on the days we were there- if you like S American rap you`ll love it. It would be a lot better with a bit more Chill Out especially at this time of year.

Lovely hotel in a great location close to Sliema waterfront for day trips or the boat to Valletta. The Aqualuna pool is nice and has a good vibe for relaxing. The hotel is clean, staff friendly and welcoming, the bed was comfy and room had good double glazing so we weren't disturbed during the night.

Hotel is very well run by the team who clearly care about their guests. All areas are well kept (with the possible exception of the jacuzzi on the 10th floor which was a bit tatty). Breakfast was excellent, as is Grana, the hotel’s restaurant, and some of the staff were particularly helpful (Sonia in the bar/restaurant areas really looked after us). The only thing we found odd was the Seasons bar in the evening. The opening hours seemed irregular. On Friday night we were asked at 8.20pm if we wanted anything else to drink as they wanted to close early. Such a shame with that amazing view. Otherwise, and all round excellent hotel.

The hotel is not as luxurious as it seems in the picture. The outdoor swimming pool is nice, but staff was unfriendly and lack customer attention. The receptionists were lovely and very friendly. The rooms are outdated and very "basic" looking, shower is tiny and not properly sealed leaving water everywhere. Breakfast was horrible, very low quality of food and also not friendly breakfast staff. Positive is the water fountains to refill your water bottles.

Breakfast was poor. Simple things like keeping the coffee machine wasn’t done consistently. The food was also the same each and every day. It would have been better if there was some form of variety to the food. The eggs were rubbery for being over cooked, the hash brown potatoes were soggy as it was not stored properly to keep it fresh. The concierge wasn’t helpful when we wanted to find out generally about the Ferry to Gozo. Just because we didn’t purchase a package/ tour with the concierge of the hotel, she withheld information in a rude way saying, “if you rented a car from me, I would have told you every detail, but you can find it on Google”. Staff need much better training.

Overall standard of the rooms and quality of the in-room facilities in no way match the level that the hotel would likely to portray when compared to the reception area/entrance and pool facilities at Aqualuna (which were to a much higher standard). Stained bedding, poor quality bathroom and no option to block the light out from the central void. Will not return.

Location of the hotel is good as central to many points of interest. Hotel not really suited for families as lots of drinking establishments nearby and party ever night at the aqua lido as DJ be playing till 2 am so loud for me living on 5th floor. Also telephone and network intermittent and reported this on Weds evening, duty manager and technician came looked and never followed up to fix the job. We had breakfast with our stay and main disappointment was options. Not much fruit or continental stile breakfast. The housekeeper Mica was really good helpful and friendly and deserve special mention. Service was excellent.

The hotel was lovely and the design was nice, the facilities were brilliant with the executive lounge being a favourite to have a nice evening night cap, the area was perfect for exploring the three cities. what made the hotel stand out however was the staff who were kind friendly and very helpful to us.

Wonderfully helpful staff … the hotel is situated in a very, very busy area of Sliema which is convenient for food options etc but may not be to everyone’s taste. The hotel is very clean but some fixtures and fittings (eg shower cubicle) are not of the highest quality and the breakfast room is congested at times. The hotel was convenient for boat trips and for the ferry to Valletta. The reception and cleaning staff couldn’t be more helpful. The lady in the foyer who helps with advice on trips etc was also a delight. Staying there was a positive experience overall. The view from the rooms was a positive, giving a panoramic view over the harbour towards Valletta.

Good facility, poor room
What I liked was the pool club (Aqualuna) I had access to. Yes it was busy but it’s peak time and yes very noisy music/dancing at times. It provided towels. For more peace I liked the small rooftop with the jacuzzi (very cloudy looking…didn’t go in). Breakfast was the same every day but nobody would go hungry. I ate on 9th floor. I got the impression some ate at floor 0 so maybe it was different there. I loved the view. My bedroom, however, was one of the worst I have had since club 18-30s hols, It was the cheapest on offer but still over 110 euros per night. The shower leaked into the bathroom, was part blocked and had the messiest mastic I have seen for a long while. The sink pedestal was held on with a spring. Toilet smelt of urine (could be worse?). There was no real place to put stuff in bathroom either. The windows faced an inner shaft so no view. TV didn’t work at first at all. Yellow pillow I was offered an “upgrade” at checkin - it was 5 mins away up a side street to an Neu brand apartment which was not handy for breakfast/pool etc and not the hotel I booked (poor communal areas, 1 stinky lift). Maybe someone else would have been thrilled with windows and space. The soundproofing to corridor was terrible. I was woken by someone coughing as they passed by and I had earplugs in! One of the 2 lifts to the terrace was out of order mostly. I came to the conclusion I was paying more for the hotel facilities than for my room which I did enjoy

Such a great hotel in a equally great location. Comfortable and clean room and very friendly and helpful staff. Super breakfast but busy! Wonderful view from top floor bar. Food there disappointing but worth it for the view!
