"Easy check but got a card for a free cocktail- while at the bar that was not true. Only applied to wine/beer. A little deceitful. Should have mentioned that on the card. The buffet was good for dinner, rooms a good size. A little noisy but they gave you earplugs. "

"There was a slight mix up at the airport regarding transportation to the hotel. The staff exceeded my expectations in making things better than was needed. They not only upgraded my room, they also insisted on giving me the taxi fare. I was happy with the room upgrade."

"Our first night was a bit rocky — our room was in the Historic area of the hotel, close to the road, and we could hear a neighboring dog barking. The next morning at breakfast, we only saw coffee, toast, cereal, and fruit, so we thought that was all that was available. After we started eating, a staff member arrived and took our order — and we ended up having a delicious hot breakfast. We really enjoyed exploring the beautiful property. It was quiet, peaceful, and full of birdlife, which made for a lovely experience. We noticed a few empty rooms and asked reception if we could move due to the noise, and the staff responded quickly and kindly accommodated our request. The rest of our stay was excellent — we had a wonderful dinner and breakfast the next day. Overall, a relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. We would recommend this property. "
