"Overall, I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel, but I personally would not choose to stay here again, as I found better options available.
The location is excellent and probably one of the biggest highlights of this property. It is very convenient and well-situated, making it easy to explore the area.
The staff, however, was a disappointment. I found them to be quite distant and unfriendly, and when I asked for dining recommendations or local suggestions, they did not seem very interested in helping or providing many options. A warmer and more welcoming approach from the staff would have made a big difference in the overall experience.
The rooms were generally clean, but they appeared somewhat worn and could use better maintenance. There were some stains on the walls and visible signs of wear and tear that took away from the overall impression. The bathroom was clean and functional, but nothing particularly memorable.
Overall, I would still recommend this hotel to travelers who prioritize location and convenience, as it has many positive qualities. However, based on my experience, I believe there are other hotels in the area that offer a better overall experience, especially in terms of service and upkeep."
"This was the perfect stay for our trip. The location is just a couple of short blocks from the main shopping center and from the waterfront (you can’t beat the location. The included breakfast basket and fresh bread saved us so much money as we were able to make it last for breakfast and lunch. Having the kitchen to store and heat food was super helpful.
We rarely lounged in our room. We were on the go most of our trip (driving as far south as Diamond Beach and back in one day!). If you plan to also be out and about then this is a great stay. Black out curtains made sleeping in the summer easy. I wouldn’t pick this location if you were looking for a lounging vacation (it doesn’t have a lot of chill space).
Some things to note: Checking in was the hardest part because you need to park (preferably in the P3 parking area) and walk to the main location. Our room was in the Tannery which was a couple of blocks away from the main registration location. Another thing to note is the dryer situation. The dryers don’t work well. We had clothes in there for 3 hours and they remained wet. We ended up hanging them on the heated towel rack or just in the closet area. One time they allowed us to use the service dryers (those worked great).
We loved the staff, loved our room, and really loved the breakfast!"
"The location of the hotel was out of the central area where the shopping area is. It takes a good 5-10 minute walk to get to the closest restaurant. Doesn’t sound like much unless it’s raining and cold. The rooms are a good size compared to European hotels, but if you need two beds they can only offer small single beds. Nice bar and restaurant onsite. Breakfast buffet offered a good variety of food and drinks. Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall good hotel."
"Clean room, friendly staffs, very delicious and healthy breakfast!!! Convenient location with very cheap parking garage down the street compared to street parking. Hot tub is also good and you can use it whenever you want!"
