The sauna and spa facilities were 1st class. A couple of minor issues - the beds were a touch on the firm side. And the range of choice for breakfast was limited. However, in every other respect, the Fujiya will be a highlight of our time in Japan."

We really enjoyed the forest private bath, and if we’d stayed longer we would have also tried the mountain view bath. We found that the meals offered plenty of food - bordering on too much for us. We would have liked the option to pick what we wanted to eat from the days menu rather than take every dish. "
