"Overall, I good experience however there are some strange rules. For example, you cannot enter the hotel for several hours before your check-in at 6pm because they’re cleaning. There is no area to wait and relax, not even outside. We were encouraged to visit local museums. Whatever you do, do not arrive early! "This a small Ryokan which is very authentic Japanese style. No English spoken but this adds to the authenticity. We loved the natural accommodation which was exactly as shown on the website. Excellent meal provided in the evening and an enormous breakfast which we were not expecting so was a bonus. We lounged about in out Japanese clothes provided and Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this clean and peaceful retreat. "
