"Amazing stay.
Old hotel but very cozy.
Breakfast was average- they had lot of variety though. For the price, it was ok.
We were 4 staying in one room and didn't really feel that it was too congested. Lounge is extremely cozy after a day on mountains. They have a dry room which is great use for skiers.
Onsen is awesome especially the one outside. We were using it every day.
Must try dinner buffet especially because it comes with unlimited drinks, food was ok. But worth the price, i think.
Staff are super friendly and accommodating.
Location couldn't be better- you can literally ski in ski out- although we did get a bit lost on the slopes trying to find the lifts closer to the hotel. That was mainly because we started skiing from gondola area which is only 5 mins walk away- just because we had to buy the tickets on day 1.
Woody's rental shop is also very close by so it became very convenient with rentals and stuff.
Just be very careful while driving your car out of the car park in snow as it was very slippery on the end of carpark before you hit the main road."
"The staff were wonderful. Breakfast was a home cooked meal, the snack and wine bar with cheese plate every evening was delightful, and the help with transportation and logistics was very much appreciated. The entire house is very Hygge, (cozy) and warm. I highly recommend staying during winter! "
"Communication with staff was incredibly convenient. There is a shuttle from Hakuba and the driver greeted me warmly. Upon arrival, staff greeted me at the entrance and at check-in counter. Staff showed me to my room and my luggage was already there. Staff showed the different amenities within the room including the washer/dryer. The room was spacious and welcoming. The heated floors were always so nice after a long day after ski. The bathtub was truly amazing. I appreciated the facial care kits and the heated towel rack. I also really liked the in-room coffee set and the view was just incredibly every morning."
