"I wish that host can provide clear instructions on how to check process. Not knowing how to get in touch with a host was big troublesome."

"The restaurant option closes at 8pm. Something the staff did not explain upon check in. The bar doesn’t open till 4pm in the afternoon. Again, something the staff did not explain. They don’t have any vending machines with food options. Seriously so no food on site after 8pm and nothing available to eat. They don’t have vending machines with Beer or Liquor options. There were no towels in the shower area. Yes they give you an Onsen towel and small towel in a tote bag but come on. Have proper towels for the room for when you shower. Lastly, their shuttle service doesn’t run until after the first bus from Hakuba t Nagano runs so we had to take Taxi’s into the town-1.5KM. "

"Super stay, homely, friendly, helpful, good coffee, good selection of breakfast bits, the lady owner is a Jem, super accommodating, and Ly was great for lifts around town, would (and hope to) return in a heartbeat "

"Property was amazing. Staff was kind enough to accommodate my request for a private onsen room. Which I should have booked initially but didn't realize was an option. Shuttle bus stop at the front door will take you to various ski resorts in the area. Staff is excellent, helpful, kind. Restaurant is great! Had use of a ski locker as well. Full locker, not just a place to hang skus and poles. "

"Had higher expectations of the lodging based on pictures and descriptions. Was not a comfortable or clean place to stay for those of us who aren’t in our 20s and who didn’t intend on staying at a large hostel. I love hostels but this was priced like a low cost hotel but without amenities."
