"I always wish the vacation rentals had coffee and tea, and normal shower gel and soap. Sigh. Otherwise, it was clean, the check in process was accommodating, and the staff is superb."

"Comfortable bed. Nice room. Espresso machine in room - excellent. Blinds were a bit broken and not blackout. Single glazing which was mostly ok at this time of year but anyone or vehicle who did go past definitely disturbed our sleep. Bath towels were small, not bath sheets. Lovely friendly staff. Good vibe. Chilled. No parking which we didnt realise until we got there. Would be useful to have that flagged before travelling so you can go straight to one of the public car parks."

"An initial, disappointing start to our stay was quickly remedied, quietly, politely and professionally. From then on everything was so much better. The Hotel is probably a little understaffed (a reflection of the economic strains of current hospitality?) so often a Team member had to be searched out but once found were polite, attentive and friendly. Our room, a late booking so limited choice, was compact but nevertheless comfortable with an excellent rain shower in the bathroom and a good view of the river. We found a delightful lounge on the first floor from which we could watch the world go by as the river ebbed and flowed whilst enjoying the occasional glass of beer, or two!! Dinner on each night was a lovely occasion in a stylish dining room, well cooked food, nicely presented and served by delightful staff."

"Most enjoyable stay, the room we had was spacious and beautifully decorated with a view of the river, and the bed was the softest we had ever slept in! Staff were really lovely and helpful, and made us feel very welcome from the beginning of our stay. Breakfast was especially good but the main menu was somewhat limited although of high quality, There was a small car park on site, and plenty of on-road parking although this was very busy during the day. However there was a large quay-side carpark opposite the hotel so there were no problems with parking. Will definitely return and cannot recommend them highly enough."
