"Shower water wasn’t remotely hot. There was globs of hair behind door in bathroom. We didn’t have linens for our room and had to go to the desk 3 times to get the right stuff"

"The hotel is a few miles from the beach but close enough to justify the room rates. We we're one of the few Canada's down there because of the steep exchange rate so room rates were important. The complaints read online we're for the most part unfair. This hotel was the best rate we could find with clean rooms and a safe location and Macdonald close by for breakfast which was not included. It's not a 5 star motel... its a clean 3 star. You get what you pay for! I spoke to the front desk and suggested that the add some hooks in the bathrooms and a folding luggage table to move this to a 3.5 star motel. Finally a read a complaint about nightstand light not working and realized that the switch location could confuse people. The concierge said he would print a label on each room, add hangers in the bathrooms and speak to the owners about folding suitcases racks."

"The room was adorable and well-appointed…newly renovated. We loved the colors, the layout, the fridge, the Nespresso, and the large balcony. A very comfortable stay. The shower was extremely small, and we are petite women. The beach is not one for sunbathing as it has huge rocks all over…but the area behind this property is super cute. You can drive down the street and pay $3/hr at the nice part of the beach, but we were very happy with where we chose to stay as the boardwalk area is a bit rowdy. I wish we could see/hear the ocean more clearly from the balcony. Our only bummer was that we received $20 to spend at the snack shack and were looking forward to using it BUT they are closed in Tuesdays and we didn’t know that. I wish we would have known and we would have planned to use it Monday. We would stay again."
