The Highlands at Harbor Springs

"The rooms were beautiful and clean! We had the king size room, overlooking the pond in the back of the hotel. We did however have a problem with our air and for the first two nights it was a little warm to sleep in, we thought it was fixed on night two when the maintenance man worked on it for over an hour and it was working when he left but quit an hour or so later. We did call the front desk the next morning and when we arrived back in our room it was working great and continued to work for our last night there! They had movie night on the grass for families, with pillows, blankets and popcorn. There is a small pond where you can take a paddle boat out, we were there for ball games and never got back in time to enjoy this. They had lots of free activities which was great! There is a pool & hot tub, which the kids loved but it's outdoors, which was nice, as its summer, but would be better if it was indoors during winter, esp in Michigan. Bummer there is no breakfast available (for free)They may have it at the restaurant on site, but after seeing that a hamburger was $25 we walked out of the restaurant and drove back to town...lol... and never went back If you are a coffee drinker, especially a plain, black coffee drinker, be prepared to run to the gas station in the morning, they have the pods but they are flavored. Many in our group weren't too happy about that either...lol. No microwave, but amazing soft robes, a fridge and a huge tv, not to mention the amazing shower!"

"We enjoyed our weeklong stay at happy days and nights, B&B. Guests were able to choose the time and menu for their breakfast which was nice. Location was convenient to the city of Harbor Springs and the rest of that area. The rooms were large and comfortable. There was plenty of parking. If we visit the area again, we would certainly consider staying there again."

"My wife will be calling in to see if we can’t stay there again maybe next year see you a little bit more of the area we’re from Wisconsin so it was kind of like a 34 day getaway and they only had three available. I just wish they would’ve been more would’ve stayed another night."

"A delightful condo surrounded by beautiful woods. Peaceful, quiet location, with breathtaking views of the sunrise, minutes from Harbor Springs or Petoskey. Well appointed condo, comfortable beds, nice linens. The rooms were all bright and nicely decorated. Condo was immaculately clean, and had a plethora of towels, beach towels, chairs, toys, wagon and umbrella which came in very handy visiting the state park. Had a bit of a snag regarding use of the pool, and Patrick was quick to respond, and generous in resolving the issue. Would highly recommend these hosts and property."

"Beautiful place to stay-lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. Advertised a heated pool that was not usable during our stay. The pool was a big draw and we were very disappointed. There was no advance warning. Our host gave us discounted tickets to the swing bridge in Boyne to help make up for it."
