"Great value. Very well maintained. Clean and comfortable. Private. Dog friendly. Short easy drive into Harbor Springs. Everything we used was in good working order. We did not need heat or A/C during our stay. We did not use the washer or dryer but both appeared to be of good quality.My wife and I had an enjoyable stay and are happy to have found this listing. We would rent again without hesitation."

"We spent a week at this northern Michigan lakefront house and it was everything we hoped for. Four bedrooms gave everyone space to spread out without feeling crowded, and the layout worked well for our group. Mornings started with coffee on the deck watching the water, and evenings ended with the same view. Perfection. The kitchen was actually stocked and usable—not just a few mismatched plates. We cooked most meals and had what we needed: pans, knives, coffee maker, spices in the pantry. That made a real difference compared with rentals where you end up eating out every meal.The walking beach was the highlight. You can stroll the shoreline in either direction without climbing over rocks or fighting a steep drop-off. The water was clear, the setting quiet, and we used it every day.Clean, well-kept, and in a spot that feels like classic northern Michigan—trees, water, and room to breathe. We would book it again without hesitation."

"The esthetic of the buildings and grounds are very pleasing at first glance. In reality it appears to be an old econo lodge type motel remodeled with mcm details, but the musty smell remains in the room. The shower curtain liner was stained. The staff was very nice and the restaurant gets very busy for dinner with both guests and locals. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but the menu was well planned. The property is not on the beach. There is a nature preserve across the street, about a 30 minute walk to get to the beach. There was no car access to the nature preserve during road work."

"Our stay at this farmhouse was exceptional. The home was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and featured recently renovated kitchens and bathrooms. With four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, it comfortably accommodated our group of eight adults and two dogs. The upstairs bathroom’s wet room, complete with a copper soaking tub, was especially impressive.The main level was ideal for our elderly parents, offering two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and easy access to all common areas. The property itself was peaceful and scenic; our dogs enjoyed the large yard and watching the horses nearby.The kitchen was very well stocked, allowing us to prepare most of our meals during our stay. We also made great use of the outdoor fire pit. Chris, the host, was extremely responsive and even brought additional kindling when we needed it. We had a wonderful time and truly appreciated the comfort and beauty of this home, and we would absolutely book here again."

"We had a great time at this property. It sits on a beautiful piece of land and is close to Harbor Springs. Our group of 4 couples had plenty of space to stay and the basement was a great evening entertainment area. We had 1 issue on arrival, the previous renter had run the grill and fire pit out of propane. I messaged the owner and new tanks were quickly delivered."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was wonderful except that the information on how extremely challenging it was to get the be🌠act was misleading, at best. Also, ww were not aware that there was another residence on the property. T🏴he house itself was excellent and convenient to town."
