"This is an extra-ordinarily well-refurbished 18th century house just off the High Street in Dorchester. It is a stone's throw from Dorchester's best restaurant (Al Molo) and right near a lovely park with tennis courts. We absolutely loved the space: a well-designed, expanded kitchen opens out via nice french doors to a comfortable and private patio. Two en-suite bedrooms with very comfortable beds makes it a great place for as many as four people to sleep comfortably. The owners are also...
"The Old Ship Inn is the perfect place to stay during our trip to Dorchester and surrounding area. It’s a gorgeous Inn tucked into a very special old pub. Our room was very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. We will be coming back here for sure. "
"We booked to stay here 2 nights in June. The day we were to arrive we got a message from the hotel to say that they were undergoing renovations and they would refund us for our breakfast charges and give us a free to-go breakfast one day. Annoying as we have a very picky eater and the buffet is a main reason we booked Premier Inn. When we arrived it took the counter staff ages to check us in as apparently there was something confusing about the booking in the system. She was very nice though. So...
"Great location for beach and harbour. Hyacinth (owner of hotel) and husband were really friendly and welcoming. Full English breakfast was good and recommended. "
"They state this place is professionally cleaned. It is not. The place is filthy. The carpets were stained there is mould around the shower screen and the taps, the worktop surfaces showed remnants of previous occupants. The toaster still had breadcrumbs in it. You cannot sit on the sofa as the cushions sag in the middle. The towel rail was on the floor. The shelves in the bathrooms and toilet roll holders are so badly fitted you cannot use them. The cushions on the sofa were stinking and...

10/10 Excellent
"The property is excellent for people who are seeking some quite and would like to stay in short driving distance from Weymouth/Dorchester and want to enjoy what the area has to offer.
The garden surrounding the property is gorgeous and a friendly doggo might welcome you if you are lucky enough. Karen made sure to provide in time all the details required on how to find and access the property, along with the parking space.
It was probably the most recently renovated/ well kept and clean property i have had the chance to stay in the last 3 years. I will definitely keep an eye on it for my future visits at jurrasic coast."
