A perfect base for cycling trips and walks on the Ashdown Forest, this detached, self contained property has stunning views of rolling countryside and yet is a mere stone’s throw from the world famous Pooh Corner, the top destination for fans of AA Milne and the Winnie the Pooh books.

The space

Located adjacent to the entrance drive through an electric gate, The Barn provides well-arranged and flexible accommodation. Features include a lovely open plan kitchen/dining room with a feature high vaulted ceiling in the kitchen. Here you will find an extensive range of units, polished granite work surfaces and a stainless steel Smeg range. A toaster, kettle and microwave is provided, as well as a welcome pack of organic Dorset Cereals muesli, bread, miniature jams, oat milk, orange juice and spread.

There is a cosy living room with stunning countryside views, and two comfortable velvet sofas to relax on. The TV has the usual channels plus a DVD player with a basket of DVDs in case you fancy a movie night!

The property also includes a utility room with a washing machine, and an iron and ironing board.

There are two characterful bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room, and the twin bedroom upstairs is just across the landing from the family bathroom that has a bath. Bedlinen is included as well as towels, eco-friendly What the Crap loo paper, and Faith in Nature shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand soap.

There is off-street parking outside the accommodation, and the property is accessed with a safe-key box.

There is free wifi included in the rental, and there is a well-stocked local shop just a few yards away, as well as a park and playground just down the road.
