"Good place and excellent staff"

"Wonderful"

"Loved our stay here, Martin at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic, it was very spacious and had a balcony. The room was updated and modern. The breakfast was okay at best, very basic selection. There is pay parking in the underground garage or limited free parking in front of hotel. The hotel is a bit of a hike from the town centre, there is a short cut but it is very steep and not for the faint of heart. Room had kettle with basic coffee/tea supplies which was...

"This is an exceptional property in the beautiful Black Forest. It is a newer property with good sized comfortable rooms, an exceptional breakfast, and great hiking within steps of the hotel. I also appreciated how close it was to the train station. Highly recommend."

"Great place to stay when travelling far"

"Stayed for one night, booked last minute the day before traveling North from Switzerland, needed somewhere in the black forest with good check-in/out times and somewhere to securely park the bike (car park right by the hotel, plenty of eyes on it and it's quite a secluded location so no concerns!) - great little beer garden, food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was great - great value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!"

"Loved this stay so unique and the cafe under served the best food."

"Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast and exceptional service."

"The hotel is old, rooms are old, however, it was very, very quiet, safe and clean. The breakfast was excellent, very hearty with lots of variety. A great place to stay right outside of Freiburg with easy driving access to the old city. We would stay here again."

"Such an underrated hotel! This was the cutest simple place we’ve stayed. Ascetically unique with the old style building and modern flare. Staff were so accommodating and make the best breakfast! Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quaint place to rest your head."
