Nice stay at the hotel, easy to park and quiet allowing for a good nights sleep. Staff are very pleasant and the breakfast was excellent.

Lovely hotel, I would definitely stay again . The service by all the staff was excellent, especially Louise very nice and helpful lady she’s an asset to the hotel .

This is a fascinating and quirky hotel with unique bedrooms and communal areas which are a feast for the eyes. The evening dining and breakfast options are truly a feast for the stomach. Lastly but not least the selection of drinks on offer are a feast for the palate….. Whats not to like ? Enjoy your stay, we did 👍

We enjoyed the friendly welcome and atmosphere. There were a lot of communal sitting rooms for guests with interesting curios. The lake in the grounds with ducks was pleasant. Would be nice staying when the indoor pool is open. It is helpful that evening meals can be offered on pre reservation along with a glass of wine from their local vineyard. Guests need to be prepared that food orders may get a bit muddled or be out of stock and the outside area is rustic. Certainly a unique experience staying here. Thank you to the staff.

The female member of staff that checked us in couldn’t have been more helpful and with a smile on her face. Food was disappointing. Clean room and clean shared areas.

The reception was beautiful. Log fire etc home to home feel.bed room was lovely. Would of been better if the two rooms were joined or main entrance had a lock. Customer service was great. Although the guy did smell of alcohol. Apart from that lovely

Due to the entrance/walk through between the rooms being a fire escape route we can not have a lock on the entrance to the rooms. The team here at Guestling hall take pride in our appearance and i am upset to hear these comments about on of our team members. I can assure you no staff drink alcohol on shift. We hope you come back again very soon!

Very disappointing and not matching description on website. No chef so only three items on offer and no white wine Room and bathroom without storage and no place for towels

As you are aware we have recently taken over the hotel and working on getting a team together to be able to provide the 5* service throughout the hotel. I had a wonderful stay at this property. The hosts Michael and Scott were both friendly and enthusiastic about their job. My room / bathroom was meticulously clean. The house was older but with a lot of character. I enjoyed the breakfast - the menu was varied with something for everyone. The table had white tablecloths and real China settings. I recommend this properly.

Lovely hotel and the care and service was exemplory. Room spotless, however level of finishing could be better eg tiles in sink area etc. Breakfast was ok, but not outstanding, but given overall price we were happy

Warm friendly welcome. Lovely country home. Room 8 comfortable, spacious and pleasingly decorated. Delicious breakfast with good choices. Quiet, even though located on busy road between Hastings and Rye.

A little hidden gem.
This hotel has so much character, the staff are all very friendly, nothing like the usual sterile places with couldn't give a monkeys staff. The lounges are full of worldy memorabilia, it's almost like a small museum in a good way. The room was very comfortable, the bed being so wide I had to message my wife good night over Whatsapp. Breakfast was enormous, my wife couldn't finish it so had a smaller one the next morning. We would definitely stay here again.
