Just a minute's walk from Pett Level Beach, Palm Beach House is a striking contemporary coastal home sleeping up to 10, made for weekends away with family and friends.

Think huge light-filled living spaces, long dinners together, walks on the beach, drinks by the fire and enough room for everyone to spread out. Then add Rye in one direction and Hastings in the other, with Camber Sands, Rye Harbour and some of the best of the East Sussex coast within easy reach.

THE SPACE

At the heart of Palm Beach House is a spectacular open-plan kitchen, dining and living space with soaring ceilings and dramatic walls of glazing.

It's the sort of room that makes a group weekend work: everyone can cook, eat, drink and relax together without feeling crowded.

The contemporary kitchen features Farrow & Ball-painted cabinetry, solid timber worktops and integrated appliances, with plenty of space to cook for the whole group.

When the weather turns cooler, return from a windswept beach walk and gather around the multi-fuel stove. In warmer weather, open the large glazed doors and let the living space flow straight onto the decking and landscaped garden.

The house has four bedrooms plus a separate snug, with a flexible arrangement that's particularly good for families, several couples or two families holidaying together.

Three main bedrooms are conveniently downstairs:

There is also a further bathroom on this level.

Having three bedrooms downstairs is one of the house's real advantages, particularly for multi-generational groups or families with younger children.

Upstairs

The master bedroom is a lovely retreat with a king-size bed, private en-suite shower room and doors opening onto its own balcony.

Alongside it is a separate snug, with a single day bed and pull-out single beneath, providing flexible sleeping for another two guests.

When it's not needed for sleeping, the snug becomes an extra space to read, relax or give children and teenagers somewhere of their own.

In the other direction, Hastings Old Town brings independent shops, restaurants, galleries and the historic fishing quarter together with proper seaside fun – funfair rides, amusement arcades, crazy golf, the cliff railway and family attractions.

You could easily spend the weekend close to home, but there's a huge amount to discover when you want to explore.

Three bedrooms (one King with en-suite) and a bathroom are located on the ground floor, while two further bedrooms and additional bathroom facilities are upstairs, giving larger or multi-generational groups plenty of flexibility.

Best of all, Pett Level Beach is only around a minute away on foot, so you can leave the cars at the house and be beside the sea almost immediately.

From morning coffee in the garden to drinks on the balcony, dinner around the table or a cosy evening by the fire, guests have the whole house to themselves and can enjoy Palm Beach House exactly as a holiday home should be enjoyed.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
