"Location is fantastic, nice balcony overlooking the beach, albeit a little cluttered. Close to the train station and several good restaurants. Short walk to the old town. It was nice to hear the sound of breaking waves in the mornings and evenings. On the downside: We were only given two small towels and no washcloths. There is no available storage for clothing so we have to live out of our suitcases for five days. The bed is small and the mattress squishy. The pillows are super soft and give little support. There is no TV. The room is furnished very eclectically, with a lot of artwork, but kitchen lacks a microwave. Overall, I think this is an excellent place for a couple of days but not so much for a longer stay."

The Bank Hotel & Bistro

"Excellent value for money. We stayed in Room 12 which is really quirky and loved the antique furnishings and the layout of the room which is incredibly spacious, but the bed is really uncomfortable on the left hand side particularly. It has what is best described as a crater at the top of it. There are 4 pillows each provided, so I literally filled the huge dip that is in the mattress with a couple of the pillows and I was then able to sleep. It's such a shame as the room is lovely and has everything you need in a great location. The bedding is immaculate and so are the towels. There is no outside noise in this room, which doesn't have a view, but ear plugs are provided should you need them. Can't comment on the food as we never once saw the bistro open. It is quite a weird experience as we had anticipated checking in and enjoying a glass of wine there, but it is literally just a person checking you in, despite it being a bistro set up on the ground floor. We thought we would have breakfast on the last day, but there was no mention of it on offer, even to pay for, but there are plenty of places outside to eat. Great location and as long as you have no mobility issues (no lift) then I'd recommend it."

"The apartment is lovely. Very clean and tea,coffee etc provided.All amenities were great. Lovely bath with shower.A short walk from the beach and town.We arrived by train and the station is just a few mins away.It was carnival week when we visited and the old town had lots of events.We would definitely return. Thank you Aurelie and Adrian."

"Clean flat with everything you could need for your stay. Near to many restaurants and shops and easy access to the beach.Host was very attentive when contacted. The flat has 3 flights of stairs which would be a problem if you have disability issues especially with carrying luggage up there. We struggled.Would recommend."
